*Discussing Sawdah*
[[----- Part 4-of-8 -----]]
---------------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Amongst the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Nana Saudah did not carry last position in night prayer (that's - "Tahajjud"). Yes. Saudah led a simple and pious life. She was punctual in her blessings, both obligatory and voluntary. Once the Prophet (saw) woke up to offer Tahajud and she got up to pray behind him. Later, she related to him that she was in ruku for so long that she feared her nose would bleed out from the posture and held onto it. The Holy Prophet was surprised and extremely pleased to hear her devotion.

*Lessons:*

Don't be like a day old baby by using ALL the hours of the night sleeping everyday - without waking up for Tahajjud

The reality is,

Any one you see waking up EVERYDAY for Tahajjud are not pushed to doing so because they are having sleepless nights 😃. No!.. They also enjoy sleeping but choose to press down their desires for sleeping in order emulated righteous people, please Allah (swt) and enjoy the sweet life in their graves and later enter paradise with ease.

Servants of Allah!

"Wise is the one who continually assesses himself and performs good deeds for the life after death. But foolish is the one who follows his desires and entertains very high hopes from Allah" 📚 (Timidhi).

And,

Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, *“When a man awakens during the night and he wakes his wife and they pray together two cycles (raka’ah), then they will both be recorded among the وَٱلذَّٰكِرِينَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَٱلذَّٰكِرَٰتِ - men and women who remember Allah often (a statement in Surah - Al-Ahzab 33 verse 35).”* 📚[Sunan Abu Dawud]

This is the Quran verse:

"وَٱلذَّٰكِرِينَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَٱلذَّٰكِرَٰتِ أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا

"and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so -  for them, Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward". 📚Al-Ahzab 33:35

Now,

*Whether Married or Single:*

Goodies are shared to whoever his or her bed for the sake of Allah. And night is accord biggest opportunity to the people of Tahajjud. Yes. Allah (swt) answer all our Du'a, especially the Du'a done in the middle of the night.

Evidence:

“Every night Allah Tabaraka Wa Ta’ala descends (to the heavens of the world) when it is the third of the last night. He said: “Whoever calls me, I will allow his appeal. Whoever asks me, I allow his request. And whoever asks forgiveness of Me, I forgive him. “ 📚(Bukhari and Muslim)

Muslim Faithful!

Consistency is the key in any act of worship because we are all in this world to work after which we expect a retirement benefits but this time around from Allah (swt). Infact, we get retirement benefits from Allah (swt) even before retirement and even after death😳. Yes. Unlike worldly employer who will stop paying you immediately you die. This is evident in the hadeeth of Abu Mūsa al-Ash‘ari (ra) who reported:

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: *"If a person falls ill or travels, he shall be credited with whatever good deeds he used to perform while at home and in good health."* 📚[Al-Bukhari]

My People!

If a person becomes unable to do certain good deeds he or she habitually performs due to a lawful excuse, like travel or illness, while having a firm intention to resume it once he or she is able, he or she will have the full reward exactly as if he or is healthy and in residence.

*The Truth of the Matter is:*

“The best of all nawafil prayer is prayer in the depths of the night. ”📚[Muslim]

Therefore,

If u have not yet set ur phone alarm in a repeating mode, to wake u up for midnight nawafil *(at least 2 rakaats every night, then, go back to catch up with your sleep)* till the end of ur life, pls do so immediately. Yes. It's not difficult bcos people are doing it everyday without missing.. It's all about priority

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
