The importance of holding firmly to Allah

 The importance of holding firmly to Allah. 

Alhamdulillah, lets remind ourselves of this beautiful Hadith of tawakkal. 

As reported in hadith, 

Ibn 'Abbas narrated:

"I was behind the Prophet(s.a.w) one day when he said: 'O boy! I will teach you astatement: Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. When you ask, ask Allah, and when you seek aid, seek Allah's aid. Know that if the entire creation were to gather together to do something to benefit you- you would never get any benefit except that Allah had written for you. And if they were to gather to do something to harm you- you would never be harmed except that Allah had written for you. The pens are lifted and the pages are dried.'"

Jami'at At Tirmidhee. 

Vol. 4, Book 11, Hadith 2516.

Allah has decreed everything for us.

Our livelihood, death, and whatever will happen to us in his lahwul mahfuz.

As reported in Hadith,

Abdullah bin 'Amr narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:

Allah decreed the measures fiffy-thousand years before He created the Heavens and the earth.""

As Allah says,

Luqman 31:34

Indeed, Allāh [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs.[1] And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allāh is Knowing and Aware.

Hud 11:6

وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا وَيَعْلَمُ مُسْتَقَرَّهَا وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَاۚ كُلٌّ فِى كِتَٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ 

English - Sahih International

And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allāh is its provision, and He knows its place of dwelling and place of storage.[1] All is in a clear register.
