RULINGS ON CLOSE FRIENDSHIP WITH THE OPPOSITE GENDER

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDFRIENDSHIul Jumuat  12th day of Swafar, 1446AH (Friday, 16th August 2024).

*_RULINGS ON CLOSE FRIENDSHIP WITH THE OPPOSITE GENDER_*. Bismillah.

AlhamdulilLah, for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. Today's khutbah is very important to us as Muslims.

The laws of Islam are from ALLAH, our CREATOR, who knows our weaknesses as well as our strengths better than we can ever do. Women, by nature, desire to be looked at, adored, and cherished, while man is inclined to look at women. ALLAH, the Almighty, therefore, warns us against our own natures, which may lead us astray if we do not exercise caution and take the necessary safeguards. Thus, ALLAH, the Almighty says, (Say to the believing men to lower their gazes and guard their chastity… And say to the believing women to lower their gazes and guard their chastity and not to display their charms in public.) (Quran 24: 30-31).

Having friendship with members of the opposite gender may lead to staring, lustful thoughts, flirtatious behaviour, and seduction. Although it may not always be the case, there is no way to tell when it could happen and when it would not happen. That is why it is forbidden to mingle and mix freely with members of the opposite sex and to develop friendships with them. It is all part of zina (fornication), which ALLAH and HIS Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) strongly ordered us to abstain from.

ALLAH, the Almighty has given us laws in order to guard us against the evils that are inherent in our own souls.

We should, therefore, avoid unnecessary chatting with the opposite gender on Facebook, WhatsApp,  etc, for ALLAH sake. Our sisters in particular should avoid displaying their photos on these social networks bcs if you disobey ALLAH to please any man or woman, you are only wasting your time bcs it will not work in your favour as you wish. Let's be online only to learn our deen and remind each other about our responsibilities as Muslims as reminders only help believers says ALLAH. Your boss or work colleague is not your relative to mingle with. Let's fear ALLAH in all we do and HE is the only source of our sustenance. Trying to please your boss which involves any form of disobedience is a disaster. *_May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

Friday and it's dignity.

Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...

The story of taqwa

The story of taqwa. Taqwa means fear of Allah. There once lived a young woman who was very beautiful lady and had all the qualities a man needed. She was well covered and oneday ,she was attacked with her families. This woman was taken away and brought to a man who was the bandits leader. As she was brought, the man wanted to sleep with her as she was so sad and in pain. As she undressed and coming to her, she said fear Allah and know death can come to you now. If you have a mother or sister like me, don't disgrace and destroy my honor for I won't forgive you  The leader immediately remembered he had a sister he loved a lot and so he quickly stopped and dressed and said to the lady, you can go. All the bandits were amazed of what their leader did. Three days later, the man whose sister was there and everyone in the sister knew her brother was wicked man. So every man was sacred.
