 *_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum Al-khamis | 3rd day of Muharram, 1448 AH | Thursday, 18th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF QUR'AN 81. Suurah At-Takwīr (The Overthrowing) continues_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah At-Takwīr. Verse 5 وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ "And when the wild beasts are gathered together." Animals that normally flee from one another will be gathered by ALLAH Azzawajal. This demonstrates the magnitude of that Day when every creature will be brought before its Creator. Verse 6 وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ "And when the seas are set ablaze (or overflow)." The oceans, which cover most of the earth, will undergo dramatic changes. Classical scholars explained this as the seas overflowing, while others mentioned they will be ignited by ALLAH'S command. This is another sign of the complete transformation of the universe. But the results? They will not be given to us until the Day of Judgement. My People, Allah (swt) has given us a special organ in our body that decides if we pass or fail. This organ is the heart. Yes. It is the most important part of us. This heart is what we use to sin in private. It is the organ that whispers to us when we are alone. It tells us, "No one is watching. Go ahead. Do it." Actually, It is easy to be a good person in front of others. We pray, we give charity, we speak kindly. People see us and think, "Masha'Allah, what a good Muslim." But how are we when we are alone? The stars that beautify the night sky and guide travelers will lose their brightness and scatter. The orderly universe that we know today will collapse as ALLAH Azzawajal prepares creation for the Final Judgment. This verse reminds us that the stability of the universe exists only because ALLAH Azzawajal maintains it. Verse 3 وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ "And when the mountains are set in motion." Mountains symbolize strength, permanence, and stability. Yet on the Day of Judgment they will be uprooted, moved, crushed, and turned into dust.  FAJR REMINDER: CERTAINTY IS THE SECOND By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 2, 1448 (17-June-2026) Undoubtedly, the foundation of true faith is to firmly believe that none has the right to be worshipped except Allāh. A person cannot truly claim this belief unless he is convinced that the only path to Jannah and the Pleasure of Allāh is Islām—the complete submission to the Will of Allāh. Unfortunately, some who identify as Muslims have allowed doubt to creep into their hearts regarding this fundamental principle. They believe that those who die upon religions other than Islām—submitting themselves to someone or something besides Allāh Alone—may still attain Jannah or earn the Pleasure of Allāh. Such a belief directly contradicts the clear teachings of Islām. Allāh (ﷻ) says: “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islām, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter, he will be among the losers.” [Sūrah Aal-‘Imrān (3): 85] The second condition of Lā ilāha ill-Allāh is Certainty (يقين). ...

BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah, today marks the 1st of Muharram, the beginning of a new Islamic year. Let's pause our Qur’an studies today to welcome Muharram.  Muharram is one of the four sacred months that ALLAH Azzawajal has specially honoured. ALLAH Azzawajal says: "Indeed, the number of months with ALLAH is twelve months... of these, four are sacred." (Qur'an 9:36). Muharram is a month rich in history and lessons.  FAJR REMINDER: FOUR SOURCES OF HAPPINESS AND MISERY  By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 29, 1447 (15-June-2026) Alḥamdulillāh for the blessing of Islām—a complete way of life that guides us toward everything beneficial and warns us against everything harmful. Sa’d Ibn Abī Waqqās reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, “Four things are part of happiness: a righteous spouse, a spacious dwelling, a righteous neighbor, and a comfortable mount.  *_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum Al-ithnayn | 29th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Monday, 15th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF QUR'AN 81. Suurah At-Takwīr (The Overthrowing)_*. BismilLah.  This suurah was revealed to: Remind mankind of the certainty of the Day of Judgment. It describes the terrifying events that will occur when the universe comes to an end. It also defend the truthfulness of the Prophet ﷺ and the authenticity of the Qur'an. The suurah shows how vividly the events of the Last Day will be unfolding. Let's start our studies of suurah.  Verse 1. إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ "When the sun is wrapped up (and its light is folded away)." The word "Kuwwirat" comes from the Arabic verb meaning to wrap or roll up, like wrapping a turban around the head.  FAJR REMINDER: HAVING THE TAQWĀ OF ALLĀH! By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 28, 1447 (14-June-2026) Dear brethren! Let us fear Allāh and recognize that He alone deserves our utmost fear above everything else that people may fear. Allāh (ﷻ) says: “O you who believe! Have Taqwā of Allāh as is His Due (i.e. fear Allāh as He should be feared).” [Sūrah Aal-‘Imrān (3): 102) In this verse, Allāh addresses the believers and then commands them to fear Him. This indicates that there is a distinction between Eemān (Faith) and Taqwā (Fear of Allāh). A person may possess the correct belief, such as knowing that Allāh is fully aware of all his actions, yet fail to fear Him by engaging in major sins like lying, stealing, or fornication. A single drop of water or sadaqah to the orphans or masjid or religious propagation. Given with a sincere heart. That can bring you more blessings than a mountain of gold given without care or sincere intentions. Why? Because Allah (swt) judges you by your intention.  *Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 4 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم The Prophet (pbuh), said, “A prostitute had once been forgiven. She passed by a dog panting near a well. Thirst had nearly killed him, so she took off her sock, tied it to her veil, and drew up some water. Allah (swt) forgave her for that.” 📚 Authentic hadith Imagine this: A woman. A dog. A well. That woman had a life full of mistakes. Big ones. But Allah saw one moment. Just one. She saw a dog, dying of thirst. Not a human. Just a tired, thirsty dog. She took off her sock.  FAJR REMINDER: HER PURSUIT OF KNOWLEDGE By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 27, 1447 (13-June-2026) After our beloved mother, Sawdah Bint Zam’ah Ibn Qays (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha), graciously gave up her allotted night to Ā’ishah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) to remain among the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ), she continued to enjoy his companionship, benefit from his teachings, and follow his noble example. Dear sisters, how much importance do you attach to seeking knowledge of the Dīn? What sacrifices are you willing to make to learn and practice Islām? Do you struggle to memorize portions of the Qur’ān, learn Aḥādīth, or attend gatherings of knowledge?  *Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 3 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), reportedly instructed us: "Heal your sick with sadaqah” 📚(Abu Dawud and others). This reminds me, Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah, a prominent and wealthy companion of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), once became seriously ill. The illness was severe and persistent. His mother was deeply distressed. While at his bedside, she made a vow (a Nadhr). She promised that if Allah cured her son, she would donate a large number of date-filled purses (a significant amount of wealth) specifically to provide water for the pilgrims in Mecca. By the grace of Allah (swt), Sa'd recovered from his illness. Sa'd mother, true to her word, took action. She had a large water cistern (a Saqiyah) built in Mecca and dedicated it to providing free, cool water to the thousands of pilgrims performing Hajj and Umrah, who often suffered from the intense desert heat.
