 ﷽ *The Beginning and the End* *Episode 17* *The Reality of the Life of this World* Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) has clarified to us the reality of the life of this world and has informed us that it is like a fleeting shadow.  Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children, as the likeness of vegetation after rain, thereof the growth is pleasing to the  tiller; afterwards it dries up and you see it turning yellow; then it becomes straw. But in the Hereafter (there is) a severe torment (for the disbelievers [evil-doers]), and (there  is) Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure (for the believers [good-doers]), whereas the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment. [57:20] He explained that it is a trial and that its delights would busy one (and cause them to forget Allah) therefore, one must be careful. ﷽  *Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 23:* وَلَوْ عَلِمَ اللَّهُ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا لَّأَسْمَعَهُمْ وَلَوْ أَسْمَعَهُمْ لَتَوَلَّوا وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ Had Allah known of any good in them, He would indeed have made them listen, and even if He had made them listen, they would but have turned away, averse (to the truth). ﷽ *Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 24:* يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ O you who believe! Answer Allah (by obeying Him) and (His) Messenger when he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) calls you to that which will give you life, and know that Allah comes in between a person and his heart (i.e. He prevents an evil person to decide anything). BismilLah.  ALLAH says: Worship ALLAH and associate nothing with HIM, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. Scholars interpreted the “neighbor farther away” to mean not only proximity, but one who is further away in religion or beliefs. Al-Qurtubi comments on this verse, saying: I say based upon this verse, kind treatment of neighbors is enjoined and is recommended, whether they are Muslim or an unbeliever, and this is the right thing to do. Kind treatment may be in the sense of helping or it may be in the sense of being kind, refraining from harm, and supporting them.  *Struggling With Conflict* *As Fatimah walked along the tree-lined street, thoughts filled her head and mocked her sensitive emotions and delicate feelings. She hurried to reach the source of pleasure, security and light in her life. She wished she could overcome this nagging doubt, but she was weak, and needed support. She told herself, “I will tell her everything. I will explain all of my difficulties to her. I will confess to her my fears.”* *When Fatimah reached her friend's home, she knocked anxiously at the door. She feared disappointment; not finding her friend Aminah at home. Aminah came forward to welcome her, they shook hands warmly and then entered a room where they settled to talk. Aminah chided her friend gently, saying, “Oh, I have missed you. Welcome again, dear friend." Upon hearing her friend's warm voice Fatimah felt at ease and nearly forgot the aim of her visit. She remained silent, so Aminah gave her a smile of encouragement and said, “You do not look...

 *FIRM STAND* *As the first rays of dawn shone on the horizon, Sumayah awoke. She had spent the previous night in tears. Sumayah felt certain that the dawn had come to dispel her bitter suffering and open the door of hope, through prayer, to her; a door which would direct her towards her Creator. She hurried to get ready to pray, as if she were on her way to meet a loved one. Forgetting the suffering and pain she had experienced for many years, Sumayah merged with her prayer, giving all of her attention to Him.* *Sumayah finished her prayer and thought once more about the two paths open to her-one leading to I happiness in this temporary life; the other ending in spiritual happiness in eternal life.  *Spiritual Surgery* *Ikhlaas considered her sister-in-faith, Wafa, to be a real help to her in understanding life as being a righteous attempt towards achieving perfection. She could never be out of her company for even a short time, and Wafa was always nearby to support her in times of crisis. She would remind Ikhlaas of her duties, if ever she forgot, and was, to her, like a mirror, gently reflecting any defect or weakness in her character.  ﷽ *The Beginning and the End* *Episode 16* *What is the Soul?* The soul is something which we neither see nor understand, yet we believe in it for we see its effects. The soul is one of the greatest proofs of the existence of our Rubb (Sub-haanahu wata'aala). It also serves as a refutation of the materialists who always desire tangible evidence so that they may perceive with their senses, for they believe in the soul although they cannot perceive it with their senses, rather through its effects. The soul is one of the heavenly secrets. No one knows its true reality except Allah, and any attempt to investigate it is futile. Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) says: And they ask you (O Muhammad) about the soul. Say, "The soul is of the affair [i.e. concern] of my Rubb. ﷽ *First Hadīth Of The Day* حَدَّثَنَا  عَبْدَانُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ  الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ جَابِرَ  بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ قُتِلَ  يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ شَهِيدًا، وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ فَاشْتَدَّ الْغُرَمَاءُ فِي  حُقُوقِهِمْ، فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَأَلَهُمْ أَنْ  يَقْبَلُوا تَمْرَ حَائِطِي وَيُحَلِّلُوا أَبِي فَأَبَوْا، فَلَمْ  يُعْطِهِمِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَائِطِي، وَقَالَ ‏"‏ سَنَغْدُو عَلَيْكَ ‏" ‏‏.‏  فَغَدَا عَلَيْنَا حِينَ أَصْبَحَ، فَطَافَ فِي النَّخْلِ، وَدَعَا فِي  ثَمَرِهَا بِالْبَرَكَةِ، فَجَدَدْتُهَا فَقَضَيْتُهُمْ، وَبَقِيَ لَنَا  مِنْ تَمْرِهَا‏.‏  Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:                         My father was martyred on the day (of the battle) of Uhud, and he was in debt. ﷽  *Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 21:* وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ And be not like those who say: "We have heard," but they hear not. ﷽ *Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 22:* إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَابِّ عِندَ اللَّهِ الصُّمُّ الْبُكْمُ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ Verily! The worst of (moving) living creatures with Allah are the deaf and the dumb, those who understand not (i.e. the disbelievers).

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 13th day of Sha'abaan (Saturday 27th March 2021). *_NOT CLEANING ONESELF PROPERLY AFTER EASING OURSELVES_*. *BismilLah.  Our beloved MessengerofALLAH to Mankind Muhammad (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said that "most of the punishment of the grave will be because of urine." (Reported by Imaam Ahmad, 2/326; see also Saheeh al-Jaami', 1213). Not cleaning oneself properly after urinating also includes undue haste in completing the action, or deliberately urinating in a position or place where the urine can come back on oneself, or failing to clean oneself afterwards, or not cleaning oneself properly. Modern imitation of the kuffaar has reached such an extent that some rest rooms for men contain wall-mounted urinals which are open to view, so a person who uses them is urinating in full view of anyone who comes and goes with no shame, in the midst of impurity. Thus he combines two abhorrent and forbidden acts in one deed:...

 ⁣﷽ ➖➖➖ *TREAT WOMAN KINDLY⁣* ➖➖➖ *Rights of the Wife* ➖➖➖ Allaah ﷻ says in the Qur'an: *وَلَهُنَّ مِثۡلُ ٱلَّذِي عَلَيۡهِنَّ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۚ وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيۡهِنَّ دَرَجَةٞۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ* _Women have rights similar to those of men equitably, although men have a degree !(of responsibility) above them. And Allaah is Almighty, All-Wise._ [Al-Baqara 2:228]  __ Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنه) narrated:⁣ The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said: _*“The most complete of the believers in faith, is the one with the best character among them.
