*EPISODE 3️⃣ - Setting Up Masjids Above Graves, Praying There And Placing Domes Upon Them*

All of these are from the means of Shirk (ascribing partners with Allāh). And the Prophet (ﷺ) had cursed the Jews and the Christians for that. And he warned against it, saying:

*_“May Allāh's curse be upon the Jews and the Christians; they took the graves of their Prophets as places of worship.”_*

[Agreed Upon]

And he said: *_“Behold! Indeed, those who came before you used to take the graves of their Prophets and the righteous among them as places of worship. Behold! Do not take graves as places of worship, indeed, I forbid you from doing so.”_*

[Reported by Muslim in his Ṣaḥīḥ from the Ḥadīth of Jundab]

And Muslim also reported in his Ṣaḥīḥ, on the authority of Jābir bn ʿAbdillāh Al-Anṣārī, may Allāh be pleased with him, who said: *_“Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade plastering a grave, sitting on it, and building on it.”_*

And there are many ḥādīths with this meaning.

So what is compulsory upon the Muslims is to be cautious of that, and to mutually advise one another with leaving it, because of the Prophet's warning against it. Because, it is from the means of ascribing those in the graves as partners with Allāh, and invoking them, and seeking rescue and assistance from them, and other forms of Shirk.

And it is known that Shirk is the greatest, biggest and most dangerous sin. So it is compulsory to be cautious of it and its means and mediums.

And Allāh had warned His slaves from that in many verses. From them is His–the Most High's–statement:

*إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِۦ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَآءُۚ*

*“Verily, Allāh does not forgive that partners be set up with Him in worship, but He forgives other than that for whom He pleases.”*

[An-Nisa' 4:48]

And His–the Exalted's–statement:

*وَلَقَدْ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ*

*“And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad ﷺ), as it was to those (Allāh's Messengers) before you: "If you join others in worship with Allāh, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers."”*

[Az-Zumar 39:65]

His–the Mighty and Majestic's–statement:

*وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُوا۟ لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ*

*“But if they had joined in worship others with Allāh, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them.”*

[Al-An'am 6:88]

And there are many verses with this meaning.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

Friday and it's dignity.

Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...
