*THE CALLER OF ALLAH ﷻ*

Allah ﷻ says in Surah Ahqaf

 *يَٰقَوْمَنَآ أَجِيبُوا۟ دَاعِىَ ٱللَّهِ* 

 _O our people! Respond to the caller of Allah,_ 

After listening to the recitation of the Qur'an, some of the Jinns believed in Allah ﷻ and His Messenger ﷺ.

This is also evidence that Prophet ﷺ has been sent to both the human beings and the Jinns. 

Thus, Allah ﷻ says,  

 *أَجِيبُوا۟ دَاعِىَ ٱللَّهِ وَءَامِنُوا۟ بِهِ* 

 _Respond to the caller of Allah and believe in him_ 

Then Allah ﷻ says,

 *يَغْفِرْ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ* 

 _Allah will forgive for you your sins_ 

 *وَيُجِرْكُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍۢ* 

 _and protect you from a painful punishment._ 

Then Allah ﷻ informs that they said,

*وَمَن لاَّ يُجِبْ دَاعِىَ اللَّهِ فَلَيْسَ بِمُعْجِزٍ فِى الاٌّرْضَ*

_And whoever does not respond to the caller of Allah will have no escape on earth_

Meaning, Allah's power encompasses him and surrounds him.

 *وَلَيْسَ لَهُ مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَآءُ* 

 _nor will they have any protectors against Him_ 

Meaning, no one can protect him against Allah ﷻ.

 *أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ* 

 _It is they who are clearly astray._ 

[46:31-32]

This is a threat and a warning. Thus, those Jinns called their people with encouragement and warning. Because of this, many of the Jinns took heed and came to Allah's Messenger in successive delegations.

Now reflect on yourselves.

How many times a day do we ignore the call of Allah ﷻ?

When we hear the Adhaan,

When we hear lectures and Khuthbas,

When we are invited to gatherings of knowledge and remembrance of Allah ﷻ,

When we are invited by righteous company instead of the evil company,

And the list goes on..! 

_

Allah ﷻ is warning us with this Ayah! 

That if you consistently fail to respond to the opportunities, then there is no protector for you against Allah ﷻ! 

_

Then you'll realise,

Your Football Idols which you skipped Prayer to watch won't help you.

The People who you surrounded yourself with, to avoid advises, they won't aid you!

The bad friends you had, the girlfriend you had, the boyfriend you had, they won't save you!

_

What will save you then? 

Obedience to Allah ﷻ

Taqwa and Effort!

_

May Allah ﷻ make us among his righteousness slaves and forgive all our sins.
