FASTING ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 7th day of Dhul-Hijjah. (Wednesday, 6th of July, 2022). *_FASTING ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY_*. BismilLah.

Just to remind us that the Arafaah Day is fast approaching and just as we know, it is sunnah to Fast in that blessed day.

Don't worry about it falling in Friday, That was not planned for and besides, It was reported that the Prophet ( Salallahu alaihi wa sallam ) only prohibited the singling out of only *"FRIDAYS"* for fasting.

We all know the importance of fasting on Arafah day so lets not miss out in fasting on that golden day coming. Those who are unable to fast especially our sisters in their monthly cycle should strive to be reviting more zikir, giving charity, supporting the family by cooking etc with intention to earn more rewards.

Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. ﷽ ➖➖➖ *IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE* ➖➖➖ *An obligation upon every Muslim* ➖➖➖ Allah ﷻ says *وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا* _And He taught Adam all the names of everything_ Meaning, the names that people use, such as human, animal, sky, earth, land, sea, horse, donkey, and so forth, including the names of the other species" *ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَـئِكَةِ* _Then He showed them to the angels_ Meaning, the creations.
