 Shirk, the unforgiveable sin.

ALHAMDULILLAH, shirk came from word sharaka meaning partners or associate.

This is the term used for a person having a contender and using right of Allah to give to anything or human or jinn is shirk.

Allah says in Quran,


Verily Allah does not forgive the sin of associating partners with him but he forgive other than that.


Surah nisa 4;48.

Allah says in Qur'an maedah 5;78,

Jesus said o Israel worship the lord my lord and your lord and whosoever associate partners with him, then paradise is forbidden for him.


Mark 12;29,

Jesus said,

O Israel! The lord our God is one and only.


There are many hadith's telling us the danger of shirk.

Narrated by Abdullah r.a saying,

When the Verse:--"It is those who believe and do not confuse their belief with wrong ( i.e. joining others in worship with Allah" (6.83) was revealed, we said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Who is there amongst us who has not done wrong to himself?" He replied, "It is not as you say, for 'wrong' in the Verse and 'do not confuse their belief, with wrong means 'SHIRK' (i.e. joining others in worship with Allah). Haven't you heard Luqman's saying to his son, 'O my son! Join not others in worship with Allah, verily joining others in worship with Allah is a great wrong indeed." (31.13)

Sahih al-Bukhari 3360.


Narrated by Abdullah,

I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): Which sin is the gravest in the eye of Allah? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: That you associate a partner with Allah (despite the fact) that He has created you. He (the reporter) said: I told him (the, Holy Prophet): Verily it is indeed grave. He (the reporter) said: I asked him what the next (gravest sin) was. He (the Holy Prophet) replied: That you kill your child out of fear that he shall join you in food. He (the reporter) said: I asked (him) what the next (gravest sin) was. He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Then (the next gravest sin) is that you commit adultery with the wife of your neighbour.

Sahih Muslim 86 a.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
