*Warnings from the Qur'an*

Allah ﷻ says 

 *وَنَادَوْاْ يٰمَـلِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَ* 

 _They will cry, “O Maalik! Let your Lord finish us off.”_ 

Meaning, let Him destroy our souls and give us some respite from our predicament.

 *قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ مَّـكِثُونَ* 

 _He will answer, “You are definitely here to stay.”_ 

[43:77]

Meaning, you will have no way out from it and no refuge. Then the reason why they are doomed will be given, which is their stubborn resistance to the truth. 

Prior to this, the people of Hell will actually attempt to reconcile with Allah ﷻ and gain respite and mercy.

As Allah ﷻ says 

 *رَبَّنَا اَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَاِنْ عُدْنَا فَاِنَّا ظَالِمُوْن* 

 _Lord, take us away from this and if we go back to our old ways, then we shall really be evildoers.’_ 

 *قَالَ اخْسُئُوا فِيْهَا وَ لَا تُكَلِّمُوْنِ* 

 _He will say "Go Away into it and speak not to me!"_ 

[23:107-108]

After this incident, they will wait for many years and Allah ﷻ will not respond to them and so then finally they'll turn to Maalik! (The Guardian of Hellfire) 

And Maalik will turn away from them as well

This will occur in a period of many years. Not just a few days.

Just contemplate over the Ayaat 

 *خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا اَبَدًا* 

 _Enter therein forever._ 

Reflect and think, which side will we be on when we hear these words from Allah ﷻ?

Will we rejoice at the word ابدا because now we have eternity to enjoy Jannah? 

Or will we cry rivers and curse ourselves as we face the eternal torment? 

Or even the pro-longed torment if Allah ﷻ wishes for us to go to Jannah eventually.?

We need to start thinking about things like this.

Because if pleasing Allah ﷻ and Jannah can't motivate you.

Then the threat of His displeasure and Hell will. 

Reflect on whether we are ready to stand in front of Allah ﷻ with our deeds! 

 *اَلَا يَظُنُّ اُلٰئِكَ اَنَّهُمْ مَبْعُوْثُوْن* 

 _Do they not think they will be raised again?_ 

 *لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيْم* 

 _On a terrible day_ 

 *يَوْمَ يَقُوْمٌ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْن* 

 _On a day when mankind shall stand in front of the Lord of the worlds?_ 

[83:4-6]

It is Strange! 

How man knows about this day yet forgets and feels no fear!
