[[--Episode 3-of-5--]]

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Islamically, there is encouraged to use someone's good lifestyle to motivate others. So, for Tahajjud business, I mostly use Abdallah as a model. Yes. Abdallah, is the one i usually told you about *"that he is into Tahajjud business for for the past 10years".*

Something happened when he visited me years ago. When he arrived, we went out to attend a program which lasted few hours.. Before we return home, he called my attention that "he is feeling severe headache & fever".. To cut the long story short, I took him to a clinic for medication before taking him back to my house towards evening.. In the middle of the night, he woke up, perform dry ablution, establish 2rakaats nawafil sitting down, folded the prayer mat and laydown on the bed.. Two minutes after, he stood up again and put down the prayer mat again and started reciting suratul baqarah "Offhand" from the beginning to end.. When he finished, i asked him the following question:

*Question:*

Even with ur health condition, Why did u observe Tahajjud & recite the entire verses of suratul baqarah (286 verses)?

*His response No 2:*

Paradise is not for lazy ones & he want license to entering paradise. He gave the following Quran verse as evidence:

أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ جَٰهَدُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

"Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who strive hard and made evident those who are steadfast?" 📚Aal-e-Imran, Q3:142

He (Abdallah) added,

(1) Besides, the Prophet (pbuh) said: *“O `Abdullah, do not be like so and so! He used to pray at night and then he stopped doing that”*(📚Al-Bukhari and Muslim

(2) And, doing things consistently signifies you are a reliable and trustworthy person. And because, *"Consistency"* reflects commitment and sincerity, or something that only people with sincere hearts can commit their time and effort to doing.

What an excellent reason!

This beautiful reason remind me of hadith where the Prophet (pbuh) was asked about the most beloved good deed to Allāh, to which he replied, *أَدْوَمُهُ وَإِنْ قَلَّ* (meaning that, a deed which is most regular and constant even if it is little in amount)” 📚[Muslim].

From the above,

The Prophet didn't mention the "size" of those deeds to emphasise that Allah (swt) loves good deeds regardless of their size and quantity. And, He (Allah) clearly loves the good deeds that are done continuously. This is because, *Doing good deeds continuously makes you a reliable & Trustworthy person*. After all, raindrops make an ocean and one raindrop creates a ripple effect.

So,

Never belittle a good deed even if it seems insignificant to you. To Allah (swt) it  could be worth more than everything in this world and it could be the very thing that saves a person from Hellfire.

*His reason No 3:*

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

PURIFICATION OF THE HEART

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrog...
