 *My Yearly Visitor*

[[--Episode 2-of-5--]]
--------------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In Islam, there is no sin in using someone's lifestyle to motivate others. This is why I'm using Andallah. Yes. Abdallah, is the one i usually told you about *"that he is into Tahajjud business for for the past 10years".*

Few years ago,,

Something happened when he visited.. And this is what inspired me to prepared this article titled - *"My Yearly Visitor"*

Now,

*Are you ready to hear what happened when Abdallah, my friend visited?*

When he arrived, we went out to attend a program which lasted few hours.. Before we return home, he called my attention that "he is feeling severe headache & fever". To cut the long story short, I took him to a clinic for medication before taking him back to my house towards evening.. In the middle of the night, he woke up, perform dry ablution, establish 2rakaats nawafil sitting down, folded the prayer mat and laydown on the bed. Two minutes after, he stood up again and put down the prayer mat again and started reciting suratul baqarah "Offhand" from the beginning to end.. When he finished, i asked him the following question.

*Question:*

Even with ur health condition, Why did u observe Tahajjud & recite the entire verses of suratul baqarah (286 verses)?

*His response No 1:*

If I will live in this world for another 60years, I don't want to miss waking up for midnight prayer for a single night because good deeds "*Done Repeatedly"* appear in the form of a handsome companion in the grave of the person who does it.

Evidence:

From a long narration of hadith narrated, al-Bara’ ibn ‘Aazib (ra) that the Prophet (saw) said:

"....Then there comes to him a man with a handsome face and handsome clothes, and a good fragrance, who says, ‘Receive the glad tidings that will bring you joy this day.’ He says, ‘Who are you? Your face is a face which brings glad tidings.’ He says, ‘I am your righteous deeds...." 📚 Ahmad (4/362)

This reminds me,

"A graveyard caretaker was once asked: *"Have you ever, during your so many days in a graveyard, observed any astonishing thing?"* He said: *"Yes"*. Only the other day people brought here a body, buried it and went away. After a while, a very foul smell spread the like of which I had never known. Then all of a sudden I saw a terribly horrifying form of a black dog-like animal. The foul smell was emanating from its body. That fearsome form then came nearer and disappeared inside the aforesaid new grave and came out of the said grave after a long time. Then, after a little while, a very sweet and pleasing fragrance began to spread around the like of which also I had never felt in my life. In the mean time, I observed a very handsome form which also approached the aforesaid grave and disappeared inside the aforesaid grave. Anyway, after a few moments, that beautiful shape (form) emerged out of that grave but in a wounded and blood stained condition. I exclaimed: My Lord! Explain to me what is this all that I am observing? Who are these two kinds of forms? Then, that faithful day, (In the state of dreaming) I was informed that the good looking form was that of the good deeds done by the dead person. So also, the ugly form also was of his evil deeds. As the number of bad deeds done by the buried person was bigger than that of his good deeds, the latter (that's - bad deeds) remained with him as his companion in the grave".

*His response No 2:*

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
