*Let's start on how this verse was revealed*👇.                                       [2:189] Al-Baqarah-

(O Beloved!) People ask you about the new moons. Say: ‘These are signs to indicate time for the people and for (determining) the month of Hajj (Pilgrimage).’ And it is not righteousness that you enter your houses from the rear (whilst in ihram—the sacred dress for Hajj). In fact, righteousness is doing pious acts (instead of observing such meaningless customs). And enter your houses through their (entrance) doors, and always fear Allah so that you may prosper.

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 39:

Narrated Al-Bara:

In the Pre-lslamic Period when the people assumed Ihram, they would enter their houses from the back. So Allah revealed:--

"And it is not righteousness that you enter houses from the back, but the righteous man is he who fears Allah, obeys His Orders and keeps away from what He has forbidden. So enter houses through their doors." (2.189)

Circumbulating  the ka'aba wasn't introduced by Islam but was present during the days of ignorant. For instance Caliphate Ali was born when his mum(Fatima) was circumbulating the ka'aba. In those days, people use to enter their houses from the back after ihram for which Allah revealed this verse banning it. They also use to nakedly circumbulate the ka'aba during the days of ignorance but Alhamdulillah, with the invention of Islam all these came to an end.

Ilam isn't a strange religion but rather came to standardize humanity. For insurance Polygamy was been practiced in some religion but enemies of Islam still go against it. Islam do not only forbid zinna but do same to anything that that contribute to that. That's why it prohibit mixing up with opposite sex, wearing (female) garments which display fineries. Islam also impose a widow to wait for a period before they marry and Alhamdulillah the Scientist has now supported it. Islam recommend fast and Alhamdulillah it also been approved by the medical fielders. Islam didn't come to be an awkward to humanity but an *Amender*.

*Let's continue on this verse*👇.                           [33:36] Al-Aḥzāb-

And neither a believing man nor a believing woman has (this) right that, when Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) have given judgment (or a command) about an affair, they should exercise their own choice in (doing or not doing that) work of theirs. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) certainly loses his way into open error.

This verse was revealed in connection with the marriage of Zaynab bun Jahsh rta and Zayd ibn al-Harith which was arranged by the Holy Prophet. Zayd was a slave in the household of Prophet and was the third or so to accept Islam.

He was the one Abu Baqar sent to the master of Bilal rta to announce to him of his intention of purchasing/freeing him. Our Noble Prophet arranged for his marriage with Zaynab but was earlier on the verge refusal for which this verse was revealed. The marriage eventually didn’t last as she was later married to Holy Prophet. By then Zayd was already married to Baraka, the mother to his son Usama.

His son(Usama) was so dearer to our Prophet especially after Zayd death. This verse was repeated by the lady whom Julaybib rta asked to marry under the suggestion of Prophet. Her parents protested to it before she intercepted and remind them of this verse, the marriage then took place. We all know how his husband saw his end as he was martyred. It should be understood that Prophet don’t talk by whims. There’s a story when a sahaba who complained to Prophet of his missing horse. He and the sahabas present were amazed when Prophet instructed him to take honey. He then decided to adhere to it, after taking it he felt to attend to washroom. He was amazed when he saw his missing horse on his way to the washroom.

The story of Hudaibiyah pact was though an indirect example to our discussion but has something to do with it. Umar especially was critical to it and suggested Prophet not accept but He went ahead. Umar even talked to Abū Bakar to convince Prophet not sign it but Abū Bakar refused. We all know what it yielded. We also know the story of Battle of Uhud when they left their assigned post commanded by the Holy Prophet. They only left that as they thought victory is almost theirs and we all know the consequences as Prophet himself was nearly killed.

*Let's continue on a commentary on this verse* 👇.

Allah has not made for any man two hearts inside his breast, nor has He made your wives your mothers whom you call mothers by way of zihar (a form of divorce). Nor has He made your adopted sons your (real) sons. These are merely the utterances of your mouth. And Allah says the truth and He alone shows the (straight) path.

This verse is of three parts because it has something to do with immediate verse we just gave. The third part of the verse was revealed in the case involving Zaid Ibn al Harithah, Zainab Bint Jahsh and the Holy Prophet pbuh himself. Zaid was an adopted son to the Prophet, loved by the Prophet so much so that he was called Zaid Ibn Muhammad (i.e. Zaid the son of Muhammad) at a point in time. It happened that Zainab bint Jahsh was wedded to Zaid. However, Zainab did not find Zaid as a perfect match for her due to the fact that she was a freed lady whiles Zaid had the status of a slave. Their marriage failed and so they were duly separated.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
