*Wet dreams & Gusl*
[[ ---- Episode 2 ---- ]]--------------------------------
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
*Cases that do not necessitate ghusl*
In fact, some cases that are commonly believed to necessitate a ghusl *do not actually* necessitate it. Yes. These cases are:
(1) If a man sees a woman or a woman sees her husband naked, a ghusl is not necessary. However, when trying to looking at, if he/she is aroused and discharges semen, then a ghusl is necessary. But if *mazy* is discharged, a ghusl is not necessary.
(2) If mazy, not semen, issues forth when a wife and a husband are flirting with each other, looking at naked photos (although prohibited in Islam), a ghusl is not necessary.
(3) Sticky prostate liquid and *wadhîy* [turbid white thick liquid that issues after urination] do not necessitate a ghusl.
(4) If semen issues forth by such means as lifting something heavy or falling down from a place, a ghusl is not necessary in the three madhhabs. It necessitates a ghusl in Shâfi’î.
(5) If there is no discharge, even if one remembers a wet dream, he/she is not obliged to do ghusl😳. Yes:
Aisha (r.a.) said: The Messenger of Allah, (pbuh) was asked about a man who notices some wetness but does not remember having a wet dream. He said, “He should do ghusl.” He was asked about a man who thinks that he had an erotic dream but does not see any wetness. He said, “He does not have to do ghusl.” Umm Salamah said, “O Messenger of Allah, does a woman have to do ghusl if she sees something like that?” He said, “Yes, women are the twin halves of men.” 📚 (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood)
(6) After a woman makes a ghusl, if some of her husband’s semen comes out, a ghusl is not necessary.
(7) If a woman or a man shaves the groin, it is not necessary to make a ghusl.
(8) If a man smells the fragrant scent of a woman, neither the fragranted woman nor the smelling man has to perform a ghusl. It does not break the ablution, either.
*Can Muslim women wear perfume when going out?*
Putting on perfume and going out with or without the aim of letting non-mahram men smell it. This is haram, and is a major sin.
Abu Musa (r.a.) narrated that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “If a woman puts on perfume and passes by people so that they can smell her fragrance, then she is such and such,” and he spoke sternly - meaning an adulteress. 📚Abu Dawud (4173) and al-Tirmidhi (2786)
By implication,
If she puts on perfume and goes out, and thinks it most likely that she will pass by a group in which there will be men who will smell her perfume and fragrance, this is also haram, even if she does not intend to tempt men and that is not her aim, because this action is a fitnah (temptation) in and of itself.
Now,
*Did you know the differences between semen (ie - maniy), mazhiy and wadhiy?*
