[[--Episode 5-of-5--]]

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Abdallah - My Yearly Visitor mentioned that "Any Muslim who did not wake up for midnight prayer have made that night a wasteful one"

But what's a wasteful night?

"A Wasteful Night" could describe a night where someone fails to take advantage of opportunities, misses important events or experiences, or lets time slip away without accomplishing anything meaningful.

My people!

It's agreed that "Sleep" is an important part of living and is a way of recharging our batteries to prepare ourself to continue our daily activities. But squandering the entire hours of the night sleeping without "Tahajjud", suggests that the night have not been better spent or utilized in a more productive way.

Yes!

You might be good in series of acts of worship BUT if you are not amongst Muslims who CONSISTENTLY pray Tahajjud, then, sorry! Yes. Sorry because you are lacking something huge.

Evidence:

Salim bin
Abdullah bin
Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with them) reported, on the authority of his father, that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “What an excellent man
Abdullah is! If only he could be performing optional prayers at night.” Salim said that after this, (his father)
Abdullah slept very little at night. 📚 Al-Bukhari and Muslim

*Lessons from the above Hadith:*

This Hadith points out the excellence of
Abdullah bin
Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) as well as the merits of establishing Tahajjud. It also tells us that it is permissible to praise someone in his presence if one is sure that he will not become proud due to that praise. Another aspect of this Hadith is that it's permissible to use someone else's positive lifestyles to motivate others.

This reminds me,

I have seen a servant of Allah who was stung by a big scorpion 🦂 in the night around 9:30PM when he travel out of the town city, and very unfortunate for him, it happened in the village where there's no modern health facilities to get himself treated.. He was left with no option than to travel to nearby village for treatment using herbs 🌿. Wallahi Tallahi this man could not sleep throughout the night because of pains BUT that did not prevent this man from waking up for Tahajjud. Yes. He squeeze inside pains to establish dry ablution (Tayamum), pray 2rakaats sitting down, make dua and go back to bed.

The same person,

Travelled weeks after to his hometown to see his parents. While sleeping in middle of the night, few minutes before the due alarm time for Tahajjud, 2 small scorpions 🦂🦂 lunch on him another attack. He wake up, kill them, eat small quantity of onion 🧅and establish ablution for Tahajjud. Guess what he did that night❗Wallahi he recited suratul baqarah complete (286 verses) in the first Rakaat and one short surah in the second Rakaat. But before he finished the first Rakaat, the pains of scorpion 🦂 Bite have vanished. Allahu Akabar!

My people!

If you are the one who experience these two trial of scorpion 🦂 bites, would you wake up for midnight prayer❓Be honest with yourself❗

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
