Death is inevitable so is the judgment day. We shall be recompensated for all that we did here. The verse inform us of an incoming incident on this day when death will be brought out like a ram and be killed. Both inhabitants of Hellfire and Jannah will recognize it before it's slughtering. After this, the matter will be set implies, no more death. The Pious once even tasted death. When the angel of death came to Prophet Ibrahim pbuh to take his soul, he petitioned him if he truly knows who he had been sent to and that it is unusual a friend will take his friend's soul. Allah azza wa jalla then asked Prophet if he really want to meet his friend for which HE replied in the affirmative.

Allah azza wa jalla made it clear to him that he can only meet His friend ( Allah) only when he's death.Prophet Ibrahim pbuh then accepted his soul to be taken. When Prophet Dawud pbuh time of death was due, a man was spoted at his praying dome where he barely allow anyone in. A woman who is claimed in some narrations as his wife wondered how he entered and wanted to show his the exit door. Prophet Dawud pbuh being a Prophet sensed he was the angel of death told his wife to excuse them for which he plainly told the man he's no one but the angel of death. The man replied in the affirmative for which Prophet told him to as he was commanded.

In an authentic narrations we read how his son Prophet Suleiman commanded the birds to spread their feathers to provide shade for the corpse till he was buried. We also have heard of a narration where an angel of death strangely stared at a man he found in the company of Prophet Suleiman. Unknown to the man he questioned Prophet who he was and why the stare. He was amazed to be told the man was Angel of death. Since everyone knows the responsibility of him, the man knowing the Powers endowed to Prophet Suleiman pbuh to help avert or postponed his death.

Prophet then pushed him to a very far place where is believed to India in some narrations. The angel of death was by then was waiting for him to take his soul. With the help of Prophet this man's soul was taken. The following day the angel of death visited Prophet as usual and was put to explanation why he stared the man the previous day. The angel of death explained to Prophet that his soul was supposed to be taken in India and was wondering how that will be possible, but with the help of Prophet, Allah's decree came to pass. We also know how Prophet Suleiman pbuh met his death.

There's also a narration that during the fearful night of Battle of ditch where the Muslims dugged ditch when the Quraish surrounded them. Many Hypocrites seemed permission to go home and Prophet accepted every excuse from them. A Sahaba presented his excuse and was as usual allowed to go home. His death being already to ordained to that day met his death at home when an animal bite him. There's also a reliable narration in Suratil Baqara when the people flee from plaque(death) but still met their death. The above narrations clearly define we are weak to avoid Allah's decree(death)  May Allah Grant us death when he's pleased with us...AMIN.

And a believing man amongst the people of Pharaoh who had kept his faith secret said, ‘Do you kill a man (just) because he says: Allah is my Lord? And he has brought you clear signs from your Lord. And (suppose) if he is a liar, then the burden of his lie will fall back on him alone, but if he is truthful, then as much torment is bound to seize you as he has promised you. Surely, Allah does not give guidance to someone who exceeds limits and is a downright liar.

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 339:

Narrated Urwa bin Az-Zubair:

I asked 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As to inform me of the worst thing the pagans had done to Allah's Apostle. He said: "While Allah's Apostle was praying in the courtyard of the ka'ba, 'Uqba bin Abi Mu'ait came and seized Allah's Apostle by the shoulder and twisted his garment round his neck and throttled him severely. Abu Bakr came and seized 'Uqba's shoulder and threw him away from Allah's Apostle and said, "Would you kill a man because he says: 'My Lord is Allah,' and has come to you with clear Signs from your Lord?" Little said about the difficulties Prophet Musah experienced in the hand of Pharoah the least. After inviting him to stop his attrocities and accept Allah solely, Pharoah wanted to challenge Musah to the extend of wanting to kill him. It was at this incident, a disguised follower of him who was a believer advise him not to. He asked if he will kill someone who had invited him to worship Allah, he inturn didn't kill him. That was the incident by which the Quran mean by that verse. However there are some memorable instances when some verses of these kind were uttered.

For instance the verse *Muhammad is a messenger and many Messengers has passed away...* was originally revealed innconection with Prophet's rumourned death in battle of uhud. But Abu Bakar repeated it when people found it difficult believing he is indeed dead. It is similar to the provided verse cus While  Prophet was praying in a countryard of the ka'aba, Uqba bun Abu Mu'ait seized his shoulders and throttled him severely girl Abu Bakar intervened and recited this verse. In another reliable narration, Prophet was once praying for which some Quraish placed filth on his back stopping him from getting up from prostration (sujuud), for which his daughter Fatima intervened lifting those filth.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w...
