Have U Finished?

 *Have U Finished?*

--------------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

I'm aware of countless number of people who will be finishing their sitta-shawwal today or tomorrow. Yes. They started a day after Eidil Fitr festival.

What about you?

Even if you have not finished, have you started?

Or you danced to the tunes of your greatest enemy (shaytan) who tricked you by saying - *"You can start next week; You can start next two weeks; You can fast sitta-shawwal when the month of shawwal remain one week to end"* and before you know it, the month of shawwal have ended without you fasting sitta-shawwal. Yes. The same shaytan will not tell you the rewards and benefits of sitta-shawwal fast. How would he? When he is your number one enemy?

We must remember that,

The Prophet (pbuh) is reported to have said, *“Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan, and then follows it up by (fasting) six days of Shawwal, it is as if he or she has fasted the whole year.”*📚(Muslim)

My People!

If you have not started, I'm advising that you start your 6days fast in this month (Shawwal) immediately before your body system get used to eating & drinking during the day. Yes. This will make the fasting easier for you.

Here,

It is important to point out that it is not compulsory for a Muslim to fast the six days of Shawwal CONSECUTIVELY. Yes. So long as one has fasted six days, either consecutively or separately, he or she will fulfill the requirement and will receive the same rewards - In Shaa Allah

Remember,

Abu Huraira related that the Prophet (pbuh) said: Allah the Majestic and Exalted said: *“Every deed of man will receive ten to 700 times reward, except Siyam (fasting), for it is for Me and I shall reward it (as I like)".* 📚Al-Bukhaari (1761) and Muslim (1946)

Finally,

Even though majority of us do not like voluntary fasting, but if we look at the quantity of rewards of one who have fasted ONE COMPLETE YEAR, then, it is something we should strive to grab.

May Allah (swt) increase us in strength and make it easy for us to grab the rewards of fasting sitta-shawwal (6days fast in the month of Shawwal). Ameen Ya Hayyu La Yamoot Abadah.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w...

Days Righteous Deeds are More Beloved to Allah* [[-- Episode One --]]

*Days Righteous Deeds are More Beloved to Allah* [[-- Episode One --]] -------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم In Sha Allah, in the next 5-6days to come, we are going to embark on one of those golden opportunities, which is the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. The superiority of the first ten days of Dhul-Hajjah has been mentioned in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Servants of Allah! Each day that Allah (swt) gives us is an opportunity for us to grow closer to Him. It’s a chance to be grateful for what we have, and to implement more good deeds, and increase in our levels of faith. Throughout the year, Allah (swt) provides us with golden opportunities to renew our faith and encourage acts of goodness by specifying special days with special rewards, like the the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. These days of Dhul-Hijjah make a way for those who feel they did not perform to the optimum level they had hoped for in Ramadan to make up for any shortco...
