The story to reflect.
Hold upon tawheed and know Allah is in control of everything.
Alhamdulillah, there once lived a man who was a traveller and was a person who always said to people to believe in Allah alone and none else.
So one-day, he was travelling and then came to a city, that city, before one enters, he has to make a sacrifice to a stone before he enters.
So this man never knew and came to the city, as he came there, they asked him to slaughter the animal but this man said,
I will never slaughter anything.
So they said to him,
If you do not slaughter we will imprisoned you
The man looked at them and said,
I want to be imprisoned.
So they tried but this man did not slaughter.
So he was there and then they caught him and said they will slaughter him for their idols.
So the man looked at the stone and said to them,
I have a stone before that this and bigger than this,
So he opened it but they looked at it so beautiful and said to them,
I made this stone you are worshipping and I did it two forms.
So he showed them and they was surprised and he said to them,
This stone has nothing but Allah is only there who is protecting and looking after us.
He started teaching them about Allah until when they saw the truth, they threw the stone and never had a fear.
Everyone could enter in city and they had normal life again
A lesson is when we lack tawheed, we feel afraid of the creatures and even a stone, a snake, a monkey we feel afraid of them since he has abandon the creator.
The punishment is everything because our biggest fear and lack security.
That is why Ibrahim a.s said to his people when they said he will not be secure and protected if he does not worship idols
But he said to them,
Al-An'am 6:81
And how should I fear what you associate while you do not fear that you have associated with AllΔh that for which He has not sent down to you any authority? So which of the two parties has more right to security, if you should know?"
Al-An'am 6:82
They who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice[1] - those will have security, and they are [rightly] guided.
May Allah SWT always be our protector. Aamin
