A group of Quraish who had committed murder in great number and committed illegal sexual intercourse came to accept Islamic monetheism. Their fear was if their past sins will be overooked by Allah azza wa jalla. The Merciful Allah revealed these verses to Holy Prophet assuring them of his forgiveness. Though one of the major sins in the sight of Allah is murder, HE can overlook them. The only sin which He will never forgive once one die without repenting is *Associating partners with HIm*. There's a reliable narration about a man who murdered one hundred people but was forgiven which is also a reason not to lose mercy of Forgiveness.

Prophet use to move his tongue when the Divine inspiration is being revealed yo him. For this reason is why this verse was revealed. The verse mean he shouldn't be haste in reciting it lest some words will escape his memory. It's for Allah and his Angels to collect it in Prophet's chest and make him recite it. The verse continued by ordering him to He should follow it's recital and then Angels will explain it through his tongue. Little said about the preservation of our Noble Quran the better cus enemies of Islam tried several times to perish it but alaas. HE is still preserving it as HE did it with our Noble Prophet Pbuh.
