In Madina there was a considerable number of Jews They were wealthy, controlled the trade, and commanded great influence. The Holy Prophet followed the policy of 'live and let live'. He accordingly entered into a treaty with the Jews. According to the terms of the treaty the Jews were to enjoy religious freedom and there was to be no interference in religious affairs. The Muslims and the Jews were to be on friendly terms, and were to help each other in the promotion of objects of mutual interest.

It was stipulated that Muslims and the Jews would help each other in case of an attack by an enemy. No party was to give protection to the Quraish, and in case the Quraish invaded Madina, both the Muslims and the Jews were to join hands in the defense of the city. The Jews knew that in their holy books there were references to the advent of a prophet in Arabia. They were however under the impression that the prophet would rise from their midst. When the Holy Prophet rose from the ranks of the Quraish in Makkah, the Jews recognized in him all the signs of prophethood foretold in their sacred books.

When the Holy Prophet came to Madina the Jews thought that he would be subservient to them and would acknowledge their supremacy. When the Holy Prophet followed an independent policy, the Jews followed the policy of betrayal and embarked on a campaign of ridicule. One day Abu Bakr came across Finhas, one of the Jewish rabbis. Abu Bakr invited him to Islam, but Finhas ridiculed the offer. The Holy Prophet had enjoined on the Muslims to spend in the way of Allah, and according to the Holy Quran this was to be a loan against God repayable manifold the original amount.

The Muslims were forbidden to charge interest. According to the religion of the Jews, interest was permissible. In this context Finhas argued: "We are rich, but your Allah is poor for He asks loan of us. Had He been independent of us He would not have given us interest, which He has denied to you". Abu Bakr felt outraged at this blasphemy. In a fit of anger Abu Bakr slapped him in the face and said: "Were it not for the treaty between the Muslims and the Jews, I would have cut off your head, you enemy of Allah". Finhas went to the Holy Prophet and complained that Abu Bakr had struck him on the face. When put to explanation, Abu Bakr said, *"This enemy of Allah spoke blasphemy. He alleged that Allah was poor and they were rich. At such insolence against Allah I could not control myself, and I hit him"*. Finhas denied the charge for which the second verse was revealed, but for Abu Bakr's anger, the first verse was revealed advising him to be patience with them.

*وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا*

_The first part of the Surahs narrates how the world will come to an end._
▪ The word "zalzalah" means to "shake violently" over and over again.
▪ By repeating this word twice in the same ayah, Allah ﷻ is indicating that on the Day of Judgment, the earth will be shaken so heavily that it will become unstable for humans as well as other creations. On that Day, a person will trip over himself unable to keep a balance.

It will appear that people are drunk but in reality they would not be.
▪ The word ‘"Idhaa’" "(when)" is used to remind people of something important that will without a doubt happen in the future.
It is something that they keep forgetting about.
____*PAGE 7*____
✍️...

▪ _Allah ﷻ hints in this ayah that it is not difficult for Him to command the earth to shake violently and destroy everything that’s on it._
♦️ _It is like a role that the earth was informed about at the time of its creation that it has to fulfill._
*“And when the earth throws out its burdens,”(99: 2).*
The word "‘akhraja’" means to "take something out". This has several meanings.
♦️ _This means the earth will throw forth that which is in it of the deed. (Ibn kathir)_
♦️ _It may be referring to the treasures of the world as well as the dead.
____*PAGE 8*____
✍️...

▪ _The earth will expel all of its treasures the minerals and natural resources for which people fight today._
▪ Then people will be resurrected.
▪ When those who denied the Hereafter would come out of their graves they would not look at the treasures of the world. These were the things with which they filled their bellies, fought with one another and committed murders.
📍 It would be the Day when their eyes will finally open up. They will realize how worthless the treasures of dunya had been for which they spent their entire lives instead of building a relationship and connecting with their Creator.
__*PAGE 9*__.

▪️Grasping the truth, he will submit to the fact that final success can only come from Allah’s pleasure.
♦️ It also means that the earth will reveal everything that people had been doing on it regardless of where they have been located.
▪ Our private and public life is being recorded right now and the video will be shown on the Day of Judgment.
_Allah ﷻ is fully aware of what we are doing at the moment, the angels are witnessing it as well, however, on the Day of Judgment everything will be brought before others._
_All records of the words we spoke and the deeds we perform will be expelled out.
____*PAGE 10*____

.💫 Muslim recorded in his Saheeh from Abu Hurairah رضالله عنه that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said
_*“The earth will throw out the pieces of its liver (its contents).*_
_*Gold and silver will come out like columns.*_
_*A murderer will come and say, ‘I killed for this.’*_
_*The one who broke the ties of kinship will say, ‘For this I severed the ties of kinship.’*_
_*The thief will say, ‘For this I got my hands amputated.’*_
_*Then they will leave it there and no one will take anything from it.”*_
📌 _It is said that on the Day of Judgment, when the earth will let out all its burdens (the sins that it has been recording or holding on to) it will give out a sigh of relief from the pain that it carried._

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w...
