LET'S MAXIMISE OUR REWARDS THROUGH OUR GOOD DEEDS

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER Yaum al-Arbiʿāʾ | 3rd day of Jumādā al-Ūlā, 1448 AH | Wednesday, 14th October 2026. LET'S MAXIMISE OUR REWARDS THROUGH OUR GOOD DEEDS بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ Allāh ʿAzza wa Jall says: “O you who believe! Do your duty to Allāh and fear Him. And seek the means of approach to Him, and strive hard in His Cause (as much as you can), so that you may be successful.” 📖 Qur’ān, Sūrah Al-Mā’idah (5:35) This verse reminds us of the importance of Taqwā, seeking nearness to Allāh through the means He has prescribed, and striving diligently in His obedience. Among the ways of seeking nearness to Him is performing righteous deeds sincerely for His sake. We can also use our righteous deeds as a means of Tawassul when making Duʿā, as demonstrated in the authentic narration of the three men trapped in a cave who supplicated to Allāh by mentioning their sincere good deeds. Our beloved Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said: “Do not belittle any good deed, even m...

THE HEART THAT REMEMBERS ALLĀH

FAJR REMINDER: THE HEART THAT REMEMBERS ALLĀH Jumādā al-Ūlā 2, 1448 AH | Tuesday, 13th October 2026 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ LET US NOURISH OUR HEARTS WITH THE REMEMBRANCE OF ALLĀH AND SEEK TRUE PEACE IN HIS WORSHIP. The struggles of some wealthy individuals, including those who experience deep emotional distress and, tragically, sometimes take their own lives, remind us that worldly success does not necessarily guarantee inner peace. A person may possess enormous wealth, live in a magnificent mansion, enjoy every earthly comfort, and receive admiration from others, yet still experience profound emptiness within. This is because material possessions may provide physical comfort, but they cannot, by themselves, fulfil the heart's deepest spiritual needs. Imagine someone who appears to have everything society considers valuable but has neglected the One Who bestowed those blessings upon him. Despite having the means to satisfy his worldly desires, he finds no las...

PACK UR BELONGINGS [PART 1 &2]

CHIEF ADMIN: PACK UR BELONGINGS [PART 1 OF 2] بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ A LEGACY THAT DEATH CANNOT ERASE For years, Brother Jamil had a secret sanctuary: the cold tiles beneath his feet in the stillness of the night. While the world slept, he would rise for Tahajjud, stand before his Lord, and pour out his heart in sincere supplication. Among the prayers he cherished most was the supplication of Prophet Ibrahim (عليه السلام): “My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants.” 📚 Qur'an 14:40 Jamil longed to leave his wife and two children with something more valuable than wealth or property. He wanted to leave them a living legacy of faith, a connection with Allah that would remain firm long after he was gone. One night, as he watched his family sleeping peacefully, a profound thought crossed his mind: My entire life is a journey towards the Hereafter. I must prepare for that journey. But what about the people Allah has entrusted to...

LET'S APPRECIATE THE GIFT OF LIFE AND OUR BLESSING OF BEING MUSLIMS BY SAYING

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER Yaum ath-Thulāthā’ | 2nd Day of Jumādā al-Awwal, 1448 AH | Tuesday, 13th October, 2026. LET'S APPRECIATE THE GIFT OF LIFE AND OUR BLESSING OF BEING MUSLIMS BY SAYING ALHAMDULILLĀH! بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ A rich man looking through his window and seeing a poor man searching through a dustbin might say, “Alhamdulillāh! Thank You, O Allah, for sparing me from poverty.” A poor man who sees someone behaving irrationally on the street might say, “Alhamdulillāh! Thank You, O Allah, for granting me my sanity.” A person struggling with mental illness who sees an ambulance carrying a patient might say, “Alhamdulillāh! Thank You, O Allah, for the blessings I still enjoy.” A sick person in the hospital who sees a trolley carrying a deceased person to the mortuary might say, “Alhamdulillāh! Thank You, O Allah, for granting me another moment of life.” And when a person dies, the opportunity to perform new deeds and express gratitude in this world co...

LET US CONTROL OUR TONGUES BEFORE THEY DESTROY US AND OUR FAMILIES

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER Yaum al-Ithnayn | 1st of Jumādā al-Ūlā, 1448 AH | Monday, 12 October 2026 LET US CONTROL OUR TONGUES BEFORE THEY DESTROY US AND OUR FAMILIES. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Sometimes, the greatest enemy of peace in our homes is not poverty, but the words that come out of our mouths. A careless tongue can destroy a marriage, break a child's heart, separate brothers and sisters, and turn a peaceful home into a place of pain and sorrow. Dear brothers and sisters, before you insult your spouse, remember that ALLĀH ‘Azza wa Jall is listening. Before you humiliate your child, remember that your words may remain in their heart long after you have forgotten them. Before you expose your family's weaknesses, remember that not every provocation deserves a response, and not every argument needs to be won. ALLĀH ‘Azza wa Jall says: “And speak to people good [words].” 📖 Qur’ān 2:83 Our beloved Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) said: “Whoever believes in Allāh and the Last Da...

AVOID TEASING. AVOID PROVOCATION. FEAR ALLĀH ‘AZZA WA JALL.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER YaumulAsabr | 29th Rabī‘ al-Thānī, 1448 AH | Friday, 9 October 2026 AVOID TEASING. AVOID PROVOCATION. FEAR ALLĀH ‘AZZA WA JALL. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Assalāmu ‘Alaikum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. Dear fellow Muslims, remember that you cannot claim to love someone while repeatedly using your words to hurt, humiliate, mock, and provoke them. ALLĀH ‘Azza wa Jall says in the Qur’ān: “And do not insult one another or call each other by offensive nicknames.” 📖 Qur’ān 49:11 This is a command from Allāh, so let us take it seriously. Disobeying His commands can bring harm upon ourselves, while obeying Him is a means of attaining His pleasure and protection. Stop hiding behind the words, “I was only joking!” when you know your words have hurt someone. Stop provoking your spouse, mocking your siblings, humiliating your children, or deliberately hurting a family member simply to entertain others. FEAR ALLĀH ‘AZZA WA JALL! The person you make cry today ...

WHO ARE THE WOMEN OF JANNAH? (II)

FAJR REMINDER: WHO ARE THE WOMEN OF JANNAH? (II) Jumādā al-Ūlā 1, 1448 AH (12 October 2026) بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Continuing our exploration of the women of Jannah, we turn to our mother, Khadījah bint Khuwaylid (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhā), whose life exemplified faith, sacrifice, loyalty, and profound love for the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ). When he returned from the cave after receiving the first revelation, shaken and overwhelmed, Khadījah stood firmly by his side. She reassured him, affirmed her trust in him, and offered him unwavering support. Her loyalty was not limited to times of ease; she remained steadfast when trials and challenges arose. Her reward was remarkable. Jibrīl (‘Alayhis Salām) conveyed greetings of peace to Khadījah from her Lord and gave her the glad tidings of a house in Jannah. Her life reminds us that some of the greatest acts of worship may go unnoticed by people. Supporting others, sacrificing quietly, giving during difficult times, and remaining steadfast...

One Best Choice [[- Yusuf & the Devil -]]

One Best Choice [[- Yusuf & the Devil -]] بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ A brother named Yusuf was tired. Every night, his children cried, and every morning, he woke up feeling as though a heavy weight rested on his chest. His money seemed to disappear faster than he could account for, and his wife experienced disturbing dreams almost every night. One Friday, an elderly man came to Yusuf's door selling dates. After exchanging greetings, the old man noticed how troubled Yusuf looked. "My son, why do you look so worried?" he asked. Yusuf sighed. "My brother, I don't even know where to begin. There is no peace in my heart. My family is struggling, and I hardly sleep peacefully anymore." The old man nodded and said, "My son, have you remembered Allah? Have you made the Qur'an part of your daily life?" Yusuf looked at him silently. The old man continued, "Do you know about Ayatul Kursi?" Yusuf shook his head. ...

AYATUL KURSI: A GREAT VERSE OF PROTECTION

One Best Choice An Islamic Reminder بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ AYATUL KURSI: A GREAT VERSE OF PROTECTION My brothers and sisters, listen carefully. Sometimes, life becomes difficult. You may experience fear, anxiety, disturbing dreams, and moments when your heart feels restless. But as Muslims, we must remember that our greatest source of comfort, strength, and protection is Allah SWT. Never underestimate the power of the Qur’an. Among the greatest verses in the Qur’an is Ayatul Kursi (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:255). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ confirmed its greatness. In an authentic narration, Ubayy ibn Ka'b رضي الله عنه was informed that Ayatul Kursi is the greatest verse in the Book of Allah. (Sahih Muslim, 810) And there is another beautiful virtue that every Muslim should know. The Prophet's companion Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه was told that whoever recites Ayatul Kursi before sleeping will have a protector from Allah, and Shaytan will not come near them unt...

ONE BEST CHOICE [[- Episode 5 -]]

ONE BEST CHOICE [[- Episode 5 -]] بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ Marriage, divorce, joy, and pain—all happen by the decree of Allah (SWT). When a marriage ends, it does not mean that a woman is bad or unworthy of love. Many women are victims of difficult circumstances, and sometimes, the end of a marriage becomes a new beginning. It may be part of Allah's plan to lead someone towards a better future. MY BROTHERS, LISTEN! Let us be honest. A divorced woman may be a better marriage partner than a woman who has never been married, especially when she possesses strong faith in Allah (SWT), good manners, and a sincere desire to build a peaceful home. Why? Because she has lived. She has loved. She has lost. And she has learned. She may have learned difficult lessons about patience, communication, responsibility, forgiveness, and what it takes to sustain a marriage. These experiences can give her valuable wisdom that someone who has never been married may yet have to acq...

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO LEAVE FOR ALLĀH?

FAJR REMINDER: WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO LEAVE FOR ALLĀH? 28 Rabīʿ al-Ākhir, 1448 AH | 10 October 2026 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ Your family background does not determine your path to Allāh; rather, what matters is how you respond to the truth when it reaches you. Today, let us reflect on the remarkable life of Umm Kulthūm bint ʿUqbah ibn Abī Muʿayṭ (Raḍiyallāhu ʿAnhā) , a woman whose story embodies courage, migration, sacrifice, steadfastness in Eemān, and the honour Allāh bestows upon His believing servants. Despite being born into a family hostile to the Prophet (ﷺ), Umm Kulthūm embraced Islām and remained firm in her faith. Her father, ʿUqbah ibn Abī Muʿayṭ, was among the prominent opponents of the Prophet (ﷺ). Yet, her family background did not prevent her from recognising the truth and choosing the path of Eemān. Her story reminds us that guidance is not inherited through family ties. A person may grow up surrounded by disbelief, yet Allāh can open their hea...

ONE BEST CHOICE [[— EPISODE 4 —]]

ONE BEST CHOICE [[— EPISODE 4 —]] ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ WHEN A DIVORCED WOMAN DESERVES ANOTHER CHANCE Everything happens by the decree of Allāh (ﷻ). Marriage, divorce, joy, and pain—all occur by His permission and wisdom. Therefore, when a marriage ends, it does not mean that life has ended. Divorce may mark the close of one chapter and the beginning of another. With patience, faith, and trust in Allāh, a person can find happiness again. Sometimes, what appears to be an ending may become the beginning of a new opportunity. MY BROTHERS, LISTEN! The divorced woman you see today may possess the qualities of an excellent wife—perhaps even qualities you have been searching for in a spouse. If she has strong faith, good manners, and a sincere commitment to pleasing Allāh, why should her previous marriage automatically count against her? THIS IS NOT MERELY AN OPINION; IT IS CONSISTENT WITH THE SUNNAH. The Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) married women w...

ALLĀH DOES NOT WANT HARDSHIP FOR US

FAJR REMINDER: ALLĀH DOES NOT WANT HARDSHIP FOR US By: Umm Affān Rabīʿ Al-Ākhir 27, 1448 AH | Friday, 9 October 2026 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ALLĀH DOES NOT WANT HARDSHIP FOR US Allāh (ﷻ), in His Perfect Knowledge, Wisdom, and Mercy, has not prescribed a religion intended to break His servants. Rather, He has established the Sharīʿah upon justice, wisdom, mercy, and ease. He (ﷻ) says: “Allāh intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship.” [Sūrah Al-Baqarah 2:185] This verse occurs in the context of fasting, where Allāh grants the sick and the traveller the concession ( Rukhṣah ) to postpone their fast and make up the missed days later. This beautifully demonstrates the mercy embedded within the Sharīʿah. Ḥamzah Ibn ʿAmr Al-Aslamī (Raḍiyallāhu ʿAnhu) reported that he asked the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) about fasting while travelling, explaining that he had the strength to do so. The Prophet (ﷺ) replied: “It is a concession from Allāh. Whoever takes...

SEEKING THE BLESSINGS OF ALLAH ON THIS BLESSED FRIDAY THROUGH SENDING SALAWAAT UPON OUR BELOVED PROPHET

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER Yaumul Jumu‘ah | 28th day of Rabee‘-uth-Thaani, 1448 AH | Friday, 9th October, 2026. SEEKING THE BLESSINGS OF ALLAH ON THIS BLESSED FRIDAY THROUGH SENDING SALAWAAT UPON OUR BELOVED PROPHET ﷺ Bismillaah. Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh, dear brothers and sisters in Islaam. Alhamdulillaah! We have witnessed another blessed Friday, a beautiful opportunity to remember ALLAH Azzawajal, seek HIS forgiveness, and increase our love for our beloved Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ. Dear brothers and sisters, do not allow this blessed day to pass without sending abundant blessings upon our beloved Prophet ﷺ. Amid our busy schedules, worldly struggles, and endless pursuits, let us pause and remember the Messenger of ALLAH who taught us the path to HIS pleasure. ALLAH Azzawajal says: “Indeed, ALLAH and HIS angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, ask ALLAH to send blessings upon him and greet him with peace.” (Qur’an 33:56) Let us frequently r...

PARENTS’ BLESSINGS IN A CHILD’S LIFE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER Yaum Al-Khamīs | 27th day of Rabī‘ ath-Thānī, 1448 AH | Thursday, 8th October, 2026 PARENTS’ BLESSINGS IN A CHILD’S LIFE Bismillāh. It is important for us as Muslims to understand that the blessings and righteous influence of parents can shape a child’s life in this dunya and, by the permission of ALLAH Azzawajal, contribute to their success in the Ākhirah. A child does not need only food, clothing and education. They also need sincere du‘ā, love, guidance, a good example and the righteous support of their parents. ALLAH Azzawajal says: “And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be excellent to parents.” (Qur’an 17:23) A parent’s sincere du‘ā for their child is something powerful. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Three supplications are answered without doubt: the supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveller, and the supplication of the parent for his child.” (Abu Dawud, at-Tirmidhi) Parents, therefore, should n...
