The Special Key

*The Special Key* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Brothers and Sisters in Islam, every Friday, a special treasure is distributed. The key to unlocking it is far simpler: TIME. When you make the conscious effort to go for Jumu'ah prayers early, you are not just securing a seat in the mosque. You are securing a seat in the divine mercy of Allah. *The Reward of a Sacrifice:* From numerous authentic hadith, the one who goes to attend the Juma'at prayers in the First Hour is rewarded as if he has sacrificed a camel. The one who comes in the Second Hour as if he has sacrificed a cow, and then a chicken, and then an egg. 📚 Authentic. Therefore, the earlier you come, the greater the rewards. Slaves of Allah! Those who attend Jumu’ah prayer should be quiet and listen attentively to the imam when he is preaching. It is not permissible to speak to others, even if that is to tell them to be quiet. Whoever does that has engaged in idle talk (laghw), and whoever engages in idle ...

In Just 5seconds* [[- Episode 2 -]]

*In Just 5seconds* [[- Episode 2 -]] ----------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم My dear Muslim brother and sister, Do you want to know a secret that will change your life forever? A secret so easy, it almost feels like a cheat code to Paradise? Listen carefully. Imagine this: You wake up in the middle of the night, just for a few minutes. You pray just two short rakaats (Nawafil). That’s it. But here is the bomb: In every rakaat, after Suratul Fatiha, you recite Suratul Ikhlas three times. Do you know what just happened? You just grabbed the rewards of finishing the complete Quran two times. Yes. Two full Qurans. In just a few minutes. At midnight. But wait. There is more. A man once heard another man reciting “Qul hu-wallaahu ‘Ahad” again and again. The next morning, the man went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said this, as if he thought it was too small, too little. The Prophet (peace be upon him) looked at him and said: “By the one in whose hand is my soul, reciting it on...

DELIBERATELY PRECEDING THE IMĀM

FAJR REMINDER: DELIBERATELY PRECEDING THE IMĀM  By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 6, 1447 (24-April-2026) One common mistake seen during congregational prayer is that some people rush ahead of the Imām in Takbīr, Rukū’, Sujūd, and even in giving Salām. At times, a person may even notice this habit in himself without paying much attention to it. This behavior is clearly wrong, because Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ said: “The Imām has been appointed to be followed (in the congregational prayers). So, when he utters the Takbīr, utter the Takbīr too, and do not utter the Takbīr until he utters it. When he bows, you should bow, and do not bow until he bows. When he says, “Sami‘ a l-lāhu liman ḥamidah,” say, “Rabbana laka l-ḥamd.” When he prostrates, you prostrate; and do not prostrate until he prostrates. If he prays standing, pray standing, and if he prays sitting, all of you pray sitting.” [Sunan Abī Dāwūd 603; classed as Ṣaḥīḥ by Shaykh al-Albānī in Irwa’ al-Ghalīl 2/121] This matter may seem ...

Please remember to make dua for our ill brother for ALLAH to grant him complete Healing.  Let's continue with our studies of Suurah At-Tariq (Qur’an 86).  Verses 13–14 إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ Indeed, this (Qur’an) is a decisive word. And it is not a joke. Commentary: The Qur’an is serious, clear, and final truth. It is not entertainment or storytelling. Verses 15–17. إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا Indeed, they are planning a plan. But I am also planning a plan. So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them for a while. Commentary: The disbelievers plot against Islam. But ALLAH'S plan is greater and unstoppable. The Prophet ﷺ is ...

In Just 5seconds* [[- Episode 1 -]]

*In Just 5seconds* [[- Episode 1 -]] ----------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Islam is a faith of ease. It is flexible, kind, and full of mercy. In fact, Islam is mercy for the whole world. And the biggest proof of that mercy is the Quran. The Quran is Allah’s greatest gift to us. No other book is like it. It teaches us how to be good people. When life feels too hard, when you are sad, sick, or tired—the Quran lights your way. It makes your burdens lighter. It is a source of comfort and ease. Now, here comes the mind-blowing part. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) once said to his companions: “Gather around, and I will recite to you one-third of the Quran.” Everyone rushed to gather. They were excited to hear so much of the Quran at once. Then the Prophet (pbuh) came out… and he recited just one short chapter. Just three lines. Surah Al-Ikhlas: “Qul hu-wallaahu ‘Ahad. Allahus-Samad. Lam yalid wa lam yoolad. Wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ‘ahad.” Then he went back inside. The companions were ...

BEAUTY OF THE PEOPLE OF JANNAH

FAJR REMINDER: BEAUTY OF THE PEOPLE OF JANNAH By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 5, 1447 (23-April-2026) One of the beautiful realities of Jannah (Paradise) is that its people will not enter it in the weak and imperfect state in which we are in this worldly life. Rather, they will enter in the most complete, beautiful, and perfect form. The people of Jannah will be taller and bigger than we are today. They will be recreated in the form of our father, Ādam (‘Alayhi Salām), who was given a magnificent stature. Abū Hurayrah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Allāh created Ādam, making him 60 cubits tall... Any person who will enter Paradise will resemble Ādam (in appearance and figure). People have been decreasing in stature since Ādam's creation.” [Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhārī 3326] This shows that the people of Paradise will return to a noble and perfected form. Regarding the statement of the Prophet (ﷺ), “People have been decreasing in stature since Ādam's creation,” al-Ḥ...

The Mercy of the Most-Merciful

🌷 *The Mercy of the Most-Merciful* 🌷 by Asma bint Shameem  The Mercy of the Most Merciful is boundless, unsurmountable, and BEYOND comprehension.  And His Love for us is unimaginably profound.  🌷Ibn Masud radhi Allaahu anhu said: "A person may hope for some matter of trade or position of authority, until he is close to attaining it.  Thereupon Allaah looks at him and says to His angels: "Divert it from him, for if he attains it I shall enter him into the Hellfire."  Thus, Allaah diverts it from him and the slave of Allaah remains pessimistic, saying "So and so preceded me to it, So and so outwitted me," when in fact, it is a *FAVOR* from Allaah." (Ibn Rajab in Jami al-Ulum wal Hikam) 🌷And Ibn al Qayyim said: "The divine decree related to the believer is *ALWAYS* a bounty, _even_ if it is in the form of *withholding* (that which is desired), and it is a *blessing*, even if it appears to be a *trial*.  And an *affliction* that has befallen him is i...

SIMPLE ACTS WITH GREAT REWARDS

FAJR REMINDER: SIMPLE ACTS WITH GREAT REWARDS By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 4, 1447 (22-April-2026) I have earlier discussed some of the deeds of the people of Jannah, and this morning, I would love to add a few more. These are simple acts, yet they carry immense rewards and can become means for entering Paradise by the Mercy of Allāh. ‘Abdullāh Ibn ‘Amr reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, “Verily, in Paradise, are rooms whose outside can be seen from inside and whose inside can be seen from outside.” Abū Mūsā said, “Who are they for, O Messenger of Allāh?” The Prophet said, “For those who speak mildly, feed the hungry, and spend the night standing for the Sake of Allāh while people sleep.” [Musnad Aḥmad 6615] This noble narration shows us that gentle speech, feeding others, and standing in prayer at night are among the qualities that lead to those special chambers in Jannah. A believer should never underestimate the power of kind words. Speaking softly and with wisdom can s...

HOW TO ACHIEVE ZUHD - ASCETICISM

Muslims Till Death: 🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ   *` Tuesday 21 April 2026/3 Dhul'Qa'ada 1447 AH ` * *HOW TO ACHIEVE ZUHD - ASCETICISM* Rasulullah ﷺ said: “Whoever is concerned about the Hereafter, ALLAH will place richness in his heart, bring his affairs together, and the world will come to him although he is reluctant for it. Whoever is concerned about the world, ALLAH will place poverty between his eyes, disorder his affairs, and he will get nothing of the world but what is decreed for him.” (At Tirmidhi) Ayoob ‎عليه السلام was given great wealth, yet remained a devoted Prophet. Dawood and Sulaiman ‎عليهما السلام both were given kingdoms and power, the likes of which has never been given to anyone, yet they were humble and ascetic. _Having wealth is not the problem. The problem arises when we aspire and pursue wealth, fame and material possessions. When we compare our lives to others and allow envy to enter our hearts, the love of dunya enters it and we no ...

HAFSAH BUN UMAR FAROOQ IBN AL-KHATTAB(R.T.A)

Muslims Till Death: 🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ   *` ` * *HAFSAH BUN UMAR FAROOQ IBN AL-KHATTAB(R.T.A)* *This is a brief Biography of the Hafsah bint ‘Umar Farooq Radhi’Allahu’anha; we ask Allaah to benefit us thereby.* Hafsah bint ‘Umar Farooq Radhi’Allahu’anha, (May Allah be pleased with her): Sa'eed bin Musayyab, a learned scholar, states that the Prophet's prediction that he was a better husband for Hafsah رضي الله عنها than 'Uthman رضي الله عنه was proved right, as was his statement that Umm Kulthom رضي الله عنها was a better wife for 'Uthman رضي الله عنه than Hafsah رضي الله عنها. After the marriage Abu Bakr Siddique رضي الله عنه met with 'Umar Farooq رضي الله عنه and told him the truth was that the Prophet ﷺ had mentioned to him that he planned to marry Hafsah رضي الله عنها . That was the reason he had remained silent, as it would not have been proper to betray his confidence. If matters were different he would have been only too happy to acc...

Helpful Examples

*Helpful Examples* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Think about this: If Adam and Eve never came to Earth, we would all be in Paradise right now. Every one of us. We would have been born there. But here is the truth. Paradise has different levels. Some homes there are small. Some are huge, like palaces. Now, Imagine if Allah (swt) put us all in Paradise today. He then says, "You get this very small house. But you over there, you get that giant, beautiful mansion." We would all ask, "Why? That's not fair! Why is their home better?" But, Allah (swt) is the Most Fair. He does not want us to ask that question on the Day of Judgment. So, He sent us here. To Earth. This life is our working time. This is our chance to build our own place in Paradise. The harder we work for Allah here, the bigger and better our home there will be. No complaints. Because we built it with our own actions here. So, how do we build the biggest, most beautiful home? Abdullah ibn A...

THE EXPIATION

FAJR REMINDER: THE EXPIATION! By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 3, 1447 (21-April-2026) Do you know how to live a good life and die upon goodness? I mean the deeds of expiation that help a person meet Allāh free from sins, as pure as the day they were born. Some people may imagine that this is achieved by repeating Astaghfirullāh a million times, praying hundreds of Rak‘āt without even facing the Qiblah, or locking themselves in a dark room for a year while engaging in invented forms of Dhikr. No—this is not the way. Rather, the path is what the Prophet (ﷺ) taught. Ibn Abbās (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhuma) said Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “My Lord came to me tonight in the most beautiful form (I think he said, in a dream). He (Allāh) said, ‘O Muḥammad, do you know what the chiefs on high (the Angels) disputed about?’ I said, ‘No.’ He put His Hand between my shoulder-blades and I could feel its coolness on my chest (or just beneath my throat), then I knew everything that is in the heavens and on e...

BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of Suurah At-Tariq (Qur’an 86).  Meaning & Commentary Verses 1–3. وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ By the sky and the night comer (At-Tāriq). And what will make you know what the night comer is? It is the piercing star. Commentary: At-Tāriq refers to something that comes at night, often interpreted as a bright star. “Piercing” means it shines intensely, breaking through darkness. ALLAH Azzawajal swears by this creation to draw attention to something important. 👉 The message: Just as the star penetrates darkness, truth pierces through falsehood. Allahu Akbar.  Verse 4 إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ There is no soul except that it has a protector (guardian) over it. Every person is being watched and recorded by Angels...
