  FAJR REMINDER: ALLĀH DOES NOT WANT HARDSHIP FOR US By: Umm Affān Rabīʿ Al-Ākhir 27, 1448 AH | Friday, 9 October 2026 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ALLĀH DOES NOT WANT HARDSHIP FOR US Allāh (ﷻ), in His Perfect Knowledge, Wisdom, and Mercy, has not prescribed a religion intended to break His servants. Rather, He has established the Sharīʿah upon justice, wisdom, mercy, and ease. He (ﷻ) says: “Allāh intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship.” [Sūrah Al-Baqarah 2:185] This verse occurs in the context of fasting, where Allāh grants the sick and the traveller the concession ( Rukhṣah ) to postpone their fast and make up the missed days later.
