Question asked i am a woman who loves islam and knowledge but my husband does not want me to go to madrasa and seek knowledge, can i stand upon it to divorce him?

Alhamdulillah, seeking knowledge in Islam is obligatory upon every muslim and the husband has to be advised and know the consequences of what he is doing.

If he continues, the wali of the woman can divorce the marriage if she wishes because having knowledge to know her deen and worship her lord well..

May Allah grants us pious families. Aamiin
