TAFSEER OF SŪRAH AN-NAAZI'AAT (Qur'an 79) continues

Let's continue with our studies of suurah An-Naazi'aat from verse 39-41. 

In yesterday's reminder, we studied from verses 38-39 in which ALLAH Azzawajal says "as for the one who transgressed, and preferred the worldly life", the next verse gives verdict for such people as follows;

Verse 39

فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَىٰ

"Then indeed, Hellfire will be his or her refuge."

The consequence of persistent transgression and deliberately preferring the dunya over AALLAH'S commands is the punishment of Hellfire . 

Verse 40

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ

"But as for the one who feared standing before his Lord and restrained himself from his or her desires."

Verse 41

فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَىٰ

"Then indeed, Paradise will be his or her refuge."

The person who fears ALLAH Azzawajal and restrains themselves from sinful desires will ultimately find their permanent home in Jannah. The choice is being presented to us every single day.
