Volume 1, Book 10, Number 509:

Narrated Anas:

The Prophet said, "Do the prostration properly and do not put your fore-arms flat with elbows touching the ground like a dog. And if you want to spit, do not spit in front, nor to the right for the person in prayer is speaking in private to his Lord."

The first Hadith command is to prostrate on  seven parts of the body. These are the forehead (along with tip of nose), both hands, both knees and toes of both feet. So If your phone rings while you are in Sujood, and you raise your hands to silent your phone, then you are NOT fulfilling the conditions of Sujood. You have raised one of the seven  bones. Similarly, raising the feet off the ground, while in Sujood, will nullify conditions of sujood. So, if they are raised up, bring them down immediately.

We are also forbidden to  put our fore-arm flat with elbows touching the ground like a dog. *Aura* is another issue with men wearing short shirts. Not only are you exposed, but it is also a distraction for other brothers. We are also from the first Hadith prohibited from tucking up clothes or hair while praying. * Tucking up is to To push the fabric at the bottom of a garment into itself or under another garment (especially trousers, skirt, dress etc.). It is better we cut it short.

Abu Hurairah [ رضى الله عنه ] narrated that Allah's Messenger صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: "When the Iqamah is called for Salat do not come to it rushing, rather come to it walking, and while you have tranquility. What you catch of it then pray it, and what you missed of it, then complete it."

_Once I passed the night in the house of my aunt Maimuna. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) offered the
Isha' prayer and then came to the house and offered four rak
at an slept. Later on, he woke up and stood for the prayer and I stood on his left side. He drew me to his right and prayed five rak`at and then two. He then slept till I heard him snoring (or heard his breath sounds). Afterwards he went out for the morning prayer._

The first Hadith remind us the significance of the right side of the rows in swalats. We can also not from the very Hadiths the first row isn't exempted from the blessings. We can also remind ourselves from the the proceeding Hadith the dislikeness of rushing for swalat. NO extra reward has been mentioned for rushing to  Salah. No less reward is mentioned for those who are late for Salah. So, take your time, but don't make it a habit of missing Rak'ahs every day. The wisdom here is that when one rushes for Salah, he is out of breath and won't be able to pronounce words prop___ins.

We all also know one is to stand on the right side of the Imam on the same line if only two persons (counting the Imam) are offering Salat (prayer) in congregation. When two people offer salah, stand in a straight line, and NOT a little behind the imam, as the line of two is considered a row, and a row is supposed to be straight in congregation, shoulder to shoulder___oot.

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
