*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_*
Yaum athalaatha | 21st day of Safar, 1448 AH | Tuesday, 4th August, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SŪRAH AN-NAAZI'AAT (Qur'an 79) continues_*. BismilLah
Let's continue with our studies of suurah An-Naazi'aat from verse 23-26. Please read yesterday's reminder first to understand this next verses well.
Verses 23–24
فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ • فَقَالَ أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَىٰ
"Then Pharaoh gathered his people and proclaimed: 'I am your supreme lord.'" This statement represents the peak of pride and disbelief. It shows how unchecked power can corrupt a person until they imagine themselves above all accountability.
ALLAH Azzawajal says elsewhere:
"Pharaoh was arrogant in the land..." (Qur'an 28:4).
Verse 25
فَأَخَذَهُ اللَّهُ نَكَالَ الْآخِرَةِ وَالْأُولَىٰ
"So ALLAH seized him with exemplary punishment in this world and the Hereafter."
ALLAH Azzawajal drowned Pharaoh in this life and has prepared punishment for him in the Hereafter. No worldly power can protect anyone from ALLAH'S judgment.
Verse 26
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰ
"Indeed, in that is a lesson for whoever fears ALLAH." The story is a powerful reminder for those whose hearts are receptive to guidance. Only those who possess humility and fear of ALLAH AZZAWAJAL truly benefit from the lessons of previous nations. Those blinded by pride often repeat the same mistakes. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.
