 Muslims Till Death:

AS SALAAMU ALAYKUM WARAHMATULLAH WABARAKAATUHU . LET'S START TONIGHT'S EDUCATION. OUR TOPIC IS 👇.                                                                            *THE FIVE DAILY PRAYERS* (Episode 7)

Al-Nu’man b. Bashir [ رضى الله عنه ] said:  _the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) paid attention to the people and said three times; straighten your rows (in prayer); by Allah, you must straighten your rows, or Allah will certainly put your faces in contrary directions. I then saw that every person stood in prayer keeping his shoulder close to that of the other, and his knee close to that of the other, and his ankle close to that of the other._

It is the saying of Anas [ رضى الله عنه ] in a Sunnah from the Sunan of Salaat; and it is the spacing in the Salaat; that *a Muslim stands beside his Muslim brother and attaches is feet, knees and shoulders to his brother without being excessive or negligent, as was legislated by the Messenger (ﷺ) who said:  _“You will straighten your lines or Allah will separate between your hearts or faces.”_*

Narrated Anas bin Malik[ رضى الله عنه ]
_I arrived at Medina and was asked whether I found any change since the days of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) I said, "I have not found any change except that you do not stand in alignment in your prayers."_
Reference     : Sahih al-Bukhari 724.                               This sunnah was already dying at the time of Anas [ رضى الله عنه ].

This is why when the hearts have become separated during this time, so did the feet. Why is it that we can’t attach our feet to each other’s feet? It is because our hearts are detached from one another, if our hearts were attached to one another, our feet would also be attached. This is why if a person who loves you for the sake of Allah and whom you love were to put his foot over yours, you would not get upset, you would not say; ‘why is he bothering me’, this is because your heart loves him for the sake of Allah alone. But because there is a detachment between you and him, you cannot stand that he attaches his foot to yours let alone that he puts his foot over yours. In some cultures, making a contact with your feet is considered disrespectful.

This is why Anas [ رضى الله عنه] says; *“At the time of the Messenger (ﷺ) we would attach our feet to our brother’s feet, and our knees to our brother’s knees, and our shoulders to our brother’s shoulders, in obedience to the Messenger’s (ﷺ) orders, but if we were to do so today, he would escape like an obstinate mule.”*

It happened in Madeenah, a man wanted to attach his foot to his brother’s foot, by Allaah his brother cut his Salaat, and left the whole first line and went to the second line to escape this Sunnah, and the cause of this is ignorance, may Allaah preserve us.

This is why we must teach the people the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ) because people are enemies to what they are ignorant of.

It is regrettable that many Muslims have neglected this Sunnah of straightening the row, or rather they have lost it altogether, except for a few of them. This is because most of their Madhaahib state that the Sunnah in this regard is that a space of four fingers width should be kept between ones feet, and more than this is disliked, as is detailed in al-Fiqh 'alal-Madhaahib al-Arba'ah [1/207]. This spacing has no foundation in the Sunnah; rather it is based on mere opinion.

In short I appeal to the Muslims - especially the Imaams of the Masaajid, those who are concerned to follow the Prophet (ﷺ), and to acquire the virtue of reviving his Sunnah, I appeal to them to act by this Sunnah, have concern for it, grab a stick and call the people to it until they unify upon it, and by what they will be saved from that warning "…or Allaah will cause conflict between our hearts.

Volume 1, Book 8, Number 357:

Narrated Said bin Al-Harith:

I asked Jabir bin 'Abdullah about praying in a single garment. He said, "I travelled with the Prophet during some of his journeys, and I came to him at night for some purpose and I found him praying. At that time, I was wearing a single garment with which I covered my shoulders and prayed by his side. When he finished the prayer, he asked, 'O Jabir! What has brought you here?' I told him what I wanted. When I finished, he asked, 'O Jabir! What is this garment which I have seen and with which you covered your shoulders?' I replied, 'It is a (tight) garment.' He said, 'If the garment is large enough, wrap it round the body (covering the shoulders) and if it is tight (too short) then use it as an Izar (tie it around your waist only.)' "

Volume 1, Book 8, Number 361:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

A man stood up and asked the Prophet about praying in a single garment. The Prophet said, "Has every one of you two garments?" A man put a similar question to 'Umar on which he replied, "When Allah makes you wealthier then you should clothe yourself properly during prayers. Otherwise one can pray with an Izar and a Rida' (a sheet covering the upper part of the body.) Izar and a shirt, Izar and a Qaba', trousers and a Rida, trousers and a shirt or trousers and a Qaba', Tubban and a Qaba' or Tubban and a shirt." (The narrator added, "I think that he also said a Tubban and a Rida. ")

White Clothe using during tawaf is example of the one garment we are talking about here. It Should however be big enough to cover the shoulders and private parts. The garment should also cover the full awra of male and female before it can be used for swalat. However should one's wealth increase, to their appearance for swalat should be improved. Swalat is a special conversation between one and the Creator of the universe, for this is why we should always appear better for him. You can't dress well when meeting your Boss or partner but refused doing that for Allah.

There's a narration which states a Sahaba used to hurriedly leave mosque for home after swalat. This continued till he was once confronted. Because of the confrontation that day he delayed in coming home to hand the garment to his wife for which he was questioned. He explained all the happened for which she became upset to why he has disclose their default to the public. In other narration it was claimed she divorced him while other narrations claim not.

During the reign of Caliphate Uthman bun Affan, a complain was lodged that a Sahaba do not offer Jum'a prayers. They also complained he has refused to marry. He was summoned to the office of Uthman for which he said, he attend Jum'a prayer late and leave there early and that's why he's mostly unnoticed. He also refused to marry because he feared his worship of Allah will decrease once that's done. He was then encouraged to marry but schedule his time wisely to serve both Allah and his wife, and that marrying and mingling with one's wife is ibaada itself.

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
