*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_*
Yaum athalaatha | 28th day of Safar, 1448 AH | Tuesday, 11th August, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SŪRAH AN-NAAZI'AAT (Qur'an 79) continues_*. BismilLah
Let's continue with our studies of suurah An-Naazi'aat from verse 37-38.
ALLAH Azzawajal says:
فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ ٣٧
وَآثَرَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا ٣٨
"So as for the one who transgressed, and preferred the worldly life." (Qur'an 79:37–38).
These two short verses contain a powerful warning. ALLAH Azzawajal warns us about two connected dangers: transgressing HIS limits and giving the dunya priority over the Hereafter.
The person who ṭaghā, crossed the limits set by ALLAH Azzawajal.
This includes disbelief, arrogance, oppression, persistent disobedience, and living as though one has no accountability before ALLAH Azzawajal.
A person may know that prayer is obligatory but choose business instead. They may know that something is haram but choose their desires. They may know that charity is required but choose luxury. They may know that repentance is necessary but continually postpone it.
This is what it means to allow the dunya to become more important than the Hereafter.
ALLAH Azzawajal warns:
"But you prefer the worldly life, while the Hereafter is better and more lasting."(Qur'an 87:16–17). To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen
