*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_*
Yaumul Jumuat | 24th day of Safar, 1448 AH | Friday, 7th August, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SŪRAH AN-NAAZI'AAT (Qur'an 79) continues_*. BismilLah
Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week.
Let's continue with our studies of suurah An-Naazi'aat from verse 30-31.
Verse 30
وَٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَا
"And after that He spread out the earth."
The word "dahāhā" means that ALLAH Azzawajal spread, prepared, and made the earth suitable for human life. It does not mean that the earth was created only after the heavens; rather, according to the classical scholars, its preparation and furnishing occurred after the heavens were completed.
Commentary
ALLAH Azzawajal made the earth habitable, providing everything necessary for life.
Verse 31
أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرْعَىٰهَا
"ALLAH brought forth from it its water and its pasture."
ALLAH AZZAWAJAL caused springs, rivers, rain-fed sources, vegetation, crops, and grazing lands to emerge from the earth.
Every sip of water and every source of food is a gift from ALLAH AZZAWAJAL. Human beings may cultivate the land, but only ALLAH AZZAWAJAL brings forth life from it. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.
