Little said about *Masjid-il aqsa* the least because it is of higher stance on Islam. It is believed it was the mosque Prophet Zakariyah was when Allah called him the glad tiding of an incoming son Prophet Yahya (John). It was also the same place Sayidatul Maryam was given glad tiding of Prophet Eesah's birth. Muslims prayed facing this Noble Mosque for several years before it was changed to Meccah / Masjid-il Harram.

It was believed that this change occured during fajr prayers. The Jews from the Hadith started their usual critics to why it was changed. That's why the verse *(2:142)* was revealed. The third Hadith remind us remind us the no wrong on lying flat on one's back in mosque. It is better than lying on one's stomach. Allah forbade that and one reason for the prohibition is that, it is how the inhabitants of Jahanam will lye in Hell. Let's however cultivate this habit. May Allah help us cultivate that...Amin.

*Let's continue on these Hadiths*👇                                  Volume 1, Book 8, Number 399:

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet saw some sputum in the direction of the Qibla (on the wall of the mosque) and he disliked that and the sign of disgust was apparent from his face. So he got up and scraped it off with his hand and said, "Whenever anyone of you stands for the prayer, he is speaking in private to his Lord or his Lord is between him and his Qibla. So, none of you should spit in the direction of the Qibla but one can spit to the left or under his foot." The Prophet then took the corner of his sheet and spat in it and folded it and said, "Or you can do like this. "

Volume 1, Book 8, Number 436:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Mu,salla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him."

*Spotum* is (physiology) Matter coughed up and expectorated from the mouth, composed of saliva and discharges from the respiratory passages such as mucus, phlegm or pus. From the first Hadith, Prophet got up and scaped off spotum on a wall in the mosque. He afterwards forbade that. He then pardoned us in spiting on our left side. He forbade doing that on our right side. It is however better to spit in an object mixed with saw dust or sand. We are highly however encouraged to ease ourselves before attending prayers.

For instance, toileting, urinating, eating and attending to anything that will hinder our attention from attaining the maximum reward in swalat. Since Cleaninness is next to Godlenness, this spiting should be done to dirty the mosque. But once again, as I said it is better doing that in the described object or to that before swalat. Swalat is a special communication between us and Allah. For this reason, it should be done efficiently to attain the maximum reward.

Why rush in ur swalat, when the one you are standing talking to is the same person that owes where u will be going?. If you are to calculate the total minutes we used in praying hamsu swalats, u will see it is small as compared to our daily activities. So it is better we better our swalats by spending time on it. As the third Hadith indicate angels praying for a praying person till they leave the musala. Who don't like Angels asking forgiveness for?. Everyone will say yes, so we should not rush in leaving the musala.

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
