Volume 1, Book 11, Number 582:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "When the Adhan is pronounced Satan takes to his heels and passes wind with noise during his flight in order not to hear the Adhan. When the Adhan is completed he comes back and again takes to his heels when the Iqama is pronounced and after its completion he returns again till he whispers into the heart of the person (to divert his attention from his prayer) and makes him remember things which he does not recall to his mind before the prayer and that causes him to forget how much he has prayed."

Though we will bring u the full adhan and Iqama in our subsequent lessons, let's elaborate on some parts of them. Iqama and Adhan contain similar wording. All wordings in Adhan is said twice while it is said once in Iqama. *"Qad-Qamatis-Salat* is the only wording repeated in Iqama twice. According to the second hadith, Satan takes to his heels when the adhan is said. He only returns to disturb man from concentrating on swalat. Satan as he promised Allah to lead us astray has in unfinished business with us. This is one of the many reasons we rectify our swalat when we blunder.

Adhan is a great form of worship that isn’t just related to the Muaddhin (the one who calls for Adhan), but there are five things that every Muslim can do once they hear the Adhan:
👉First: Repeating after the Adhan. Allah's Messenger صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: «Whenever you hear the Adhan, say what the Mu'adh-dhin is saying» (Sahih Bukhari 611); except when he says "Haiyi
alassala, Hayya ala Al-Falah", we say: "La hawla wala quwwata ella billah" because in a hadith "When the Mu'adhdhin said, 'Haiyi
alassala (come for the prayer)', Muawiya [ رضى الله عنه ] said: 'La hawla wala quwata illa billah (There is neither might nor any power except with Allah)', and added: 'We heard your Prophet say the same' " (Sahih Bukhari 613).

👉 After the Adhan is over send Salat upon the Prophet(ﷺ)

The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: «… Then send Salat upon me, because whoever sends Salat upon me, Allah will send Salat upon him ten times due to it»  (Sahih Muslim 383).

👉: Ask Allah to give Prophet (ﷺ) 'Al-Wasila'.
The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: « ... Then ask Allah that He gives me Al-Wasilah, because it is a place in Paradise which is not for anyone except for a slave from the slaves of Allah, and I hope that I am him. And whoever asks that I have Al-Wasilah, then he would be assured of my intercession » (Sahih Muslim 384).

👉*: Recite Shahaada.
The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: «If anyone says on hearing the Mu'adhdhin: I testify that there is no god but Allah alone. Who has no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, (and that) I am satisfied with Allah as my Lord, with Muhammad as Messenger. and with Islam as deen (code of life), his sins would be forgiven» (Sahih Muslim 386).
*Fifth*: Make Duaa and ask Allah for whatever you want, inSha Allah your prayers will be answered. A man said: "Oh Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ, the mu'adhdhins excel us". The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: «Say (the same words) as they say, and when you come to the end, make a petition and that will be granted to you» (Abu Dawood 524, Nasai kubra, and Musnad Ahmad).

*Let's continue on these Hadiths*👇.                                   Volume 1, Book 11, Number 690:

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet said, "Straighten your rows as the straightening of rows is essential for a perfect and correct prayer. "

Jabir bin Samurah [ رضى الله عنه ] reported: _The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out to us (once) and said, “Why do you not stand in rows as the angels do before their Rubb?” We asked: “O Messenger of Allah! how do the angels stand in rows before their Rubb?” He (ﷺ) replied, “They complete each row beginning with the first and filling all the gaps.”_ [Sahih Muslim].

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
